Yup all we do in our Spitfires is put our feet up with a decent CD in the player and play Nintendo, whilst the aircraft flies around shooting down all the expert 109 pilots slogging their hearts out trying to fly it.
Truth be known, the 109 is still way to easy to fly, first hand, German pilots say it was notorious for flipping onto its back on takeoff with too much power too soon.
I???d love it to be able to do that in game.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I fly 109s almost exclusively and while I don't think it's too easy to fly, it is WAY too easy to take-off and land. But, I think some of that is due to the low speed high AOA limitations of the game engine, not necessarily a mistake on the part of the developers.

Yeah, you can imagine the Air Ministry would have been a little bit miffed at this:

Air Minister: "I say Mitchell, this new monoplane fighter of yours is a tad easy to fly isn't it?"

R.J.Mitchell: "My God, you're right! I'd better narrow that undercarriage and bugger up that beautiful elliptical wing sharpish. Don't want our chaps to lose face in front of the blue team, do we?"

Or maybe not... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Be that as it may be... there will never be debates about the Me109 winning the war.....

If there is one thing that 20th century warfare taught us it's that easy to build, easy to fix, easy to use will beat out the engineering marvels of thier day in most cases.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

<span class="ev_code_white">Oleg: I think players should upgrade their PC after the release of Storm of War: The Battle of Britain, but not now. Minimum system would be probably like last year good system for IL-2 series. The simulation has gone from what was to be a study sim involving one aircraft to a real monster anthology of WWII aviation. The engine has been stretched to fit multi-engined bombers, aircraft that are linked (such as the Mistel and the TB-3/I-16 combinations), aircraft carriers, runway cratering, working searchlights, etc.

"Once (I think it was 31st aug. 1940), I was in a fight with four Hurricanes over Dover.
I was back over the channel when I saw another Hurricane coming from Calais, trailing white smoke, obviously in a bad way.
I flew up alongside him and escorted him all the way to England and waved goodbye.
A few weeks later the same thing happened to me.
That would never have happened in Russia - never". (Erich Rudorffer - 109 pilot)
