whats about connecting onto russian servers with Pe2....they would fly this plane and ofcourse other ppl without Pe2 addon could not join,.... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_confused.gif http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Tvrdi that would work the same as ai planes. You can see it you can shoot it down but you cant fly it cause you have the dm and externals only . So it stays compatible but no cockpit.

Nice work Abrax cant wait to see this planes .)

"Ju-88A-4 (cockpit and the plane. Sorry need more rework. We started it finally ourselves)"

Does this mean that Jippo/Dietger/Squirel/Falkster Ju 88A-4, Ju 88A-13, Ju 88A-14, Ju 88A-17, Ju 88C-6a & Ju 88C-6a "Field Mod" all have been rejected by Maddox/1C and that Maddox/1C have redone an "in-house" Ju 88A-4 with reworked cockpit and the rest of the variants have been/will be dumped ?

Please say no !!!!!!!!!!!!! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/cry.gif

Thank a lot!!! Great news!!

I'm very happy for the modellers (i'm only a speaker), they have worked really a lot and they are working again a lot, and not only the italians.

We have also a very good historical-technical team, with a lot of source...also a lot of WW2 pilots (Regia Aeronautica, I.C.A.F and A.N.R.).
Thank Oleg for your words, thank you really a lot.

We really hope to win this 3D battle. It would be the first time we have the possibility to fly some competitive italian fighters, in the best sim ever.

...G55...C 205..my God...

I quote what Abraxa said about the other models, they should be ready too...should.

Thank,

I am not sure who is copying who but those CFS3 3rd party guys like AvHistory, Italian Wings, IS4G have been releasing for about a year a bunch of Italian planes.

G-50, G-55, Cant Z-506, CR-25, Mc-202, RE-2000, RE-2005, SM-79 CR-42 are all ready out.

The MAW (Mediterranean Air War) group has been up for a long time & their site is linked from the AvHistory site who is doing the flight models.

Nanni's G55 is a very good model, but is not a 3Dmax model, and is for CFS3.

The our G55 is for Il2, 3Dmax, and is a modified Giobianco's model.

No, italian "Serie 5" was a DM 605A: C205, G55 and Re 2005, all with that engine "Tifone" as we called it.

G56 had DM 603, with very high general performances...i think it was better than K4.

Veltro, I knew the series 5 Italian fighters were all fitter with basically a DB605A-1, but that was in 1942/1943. I was wandering if some later production fighters, prototypes, or even "field mod" variants - either one-offs or multiple planes were ever fitted or tested with MW-50 injection later in the war while in service with the ANR or the German Luftwaffe.

Thanks anyhow,

Jagd

I think no, or better...i don't know. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif I've to ask to Ferdinando D'Amico. Probably no...we used only that version of DB, but... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif...in the same "Squadriglie" (Squadrons) italian pilots flew with C 205, G6, G6-AS, G10, G14, G14-AS and some K4.

Sorry, now i've understood your question. Interesting, i hope to answer you ASAP.

Jagd,
two G.56 (actually modified G.55), DB603 engined, prototypes have been built.

The G.55 was actually the only series 5 fighter able to mount the DB603 without modifications. One of the Fiat official tests show a max speed of 685Km/h at 7.000mt and 5'45" min. to get to 6.000mt. And this was achieved pushing the engine to not more than 1.510hp (instead of 1.650hp) and 2.500rpm during the countinuous climb and the speed tests. Unofficial test pilot reports show a max speed of about 700-720Km/h at 7Km.

This, coupled with an armament of 3x20mm, probably made the G.56 the best high altitude bomber interceptor. *Much* better than the 109G-6 armed with 20mm gondolas.

Thats what italian design and german brutal power could do http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

I knew that the G.56 had a DB603 mounted. I was just more interested to find out if any of the unit delivered to ANR/Luftwaffe G.55/Mc. 205/Re. 2005 had anything else than a plain jane DB605A-1 fitted at the factory and/or had "field mod" install of MW-50 injection or anything else than DB605A-1 installed in the field as part of an engine upgrade or else.

Thanks,

Jagd

To show how crappy it is ofcourse, everybody knows that don't they. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif They also help to prove Capt._Tenneal's point that they are just a bunch of copycats & not very good ones at that. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/icon_twisted.gif
