Hello!

I've bought Collector's Edition of SC:Convincion.
Today I received the package with the game.
After installation (registration was OK) I tried to enter 2 bonus codes:
<UL TYPE=SQUARE><LI> 3 weapons, 1 game-mode & armor from Collector's Edition
<LI> 1 weapon from Exclusive Pre-Order Pack.[/list]
When I entered the key first time I've got a message, that Ubisoft server is not available.
Second time, that my key is already in use.

With second key I've got the same messages (the first and the second).

Can someone tell me what is happening?

I attach the screenshots of this messages (sorry, but I have polish version of the game, I think you should know what it is about)...

Witaj, ty w ogole mozesz zalogowac si? do gry? U mnie wyskakuje ze gra wymaga polaczenia z internetem i ze nie udalo sie polaczyc z serverami ubisoftu. Dodam ze assassins creed 2 dzialal bez problemu i sprawdzilem go wlasnie przed chwila czy to nie wina splinter cella , ale AC2 tez wyskakuje ten sam komunikat.

@arathad - everything works. Game is playable.
This is only about the two bonus in-game codes.

P.S. After first neither second code entering, the content is not listed in the menu.
Beside first entering I've always the second message (on both codes).

Omg are you in Poland? I cant connect to Ubisoft server , also my assassins creed 2 is not working anymore( it was working when I played it month ago)... What the hell , I tought ubisoft servers are down because why should my assassins creed 2 also not work? :|

Already contacted the support team through e-mail, waiting for answer.

parrotfive, make sure to not mistake U for W, as did I for the first two entries. You probably get the error message anyways. Still, I'm pretty sure that ubi servers are malfunctioning, and we'll get the items eventually.
Anyways, I got the reply from support and they told me they don't know what's going on, but they're working on it.

Okay guys listen, I've talked with the support team for a while, and they said that the PC edition is NOT YET officially released, though some shops (including the polish gram.pl) are selling it earlier. The game is to launch on the upcoming friday, and then is when it all be probably fixed. You may also notice that the matchmaking system on splintercell.com/match is not working either, probably due to the same reason.

Reasuming, just hold on 'till friday, and lets see what's gonna happen then.

Baka wasn't that bad, all the enemies voices were ****ed up though. Either way, you can switch the voices back to original ones. I still play chaos theory, as conviction is a bit disappointing in stealth matters, nevertheless it's a good game.

That's f****d up. I really like this shadow armor and this is mostly why i bought collector's edition. I though that it will work today because its official release date but for now still same cant see content on the list (only the ones that are as free DLC). I hope we will get this today. Also from Poland.

Okay, this is starting to **** me off too. I am barely able to play online, I can't use my SPAS, I can't use the website matchmaking system, I can't log in to uplay on website, I BARELY logged in to the forums, UBI WHERE THE **** ARE YOU?!

Without changes, still an already used announcement that the code stayed is appearing. Men from Ubisoft, wake-up.
There are very problems recently with games from Ubi, I already had a problem around Assassin's Creeds 2 and Settlers 7 and now Splinter Cell Conviction.

I called ubisoft support line. They said that there are some problems with codes but they will try to make it till today evening. Also multiplayer works but you need to unlock special ports which ubi will send me to my email. About the multiplayer, it works for me, but ubisoft website is ****ed up since I can't use the matchmaking system @ www.splintercell.com/match (http://www.splintercell.com/match)

Hi all in here! first i want to ad to all of u guys that got the same problem as me,the codes fore in game items don`t work! All the same thing as u guys above,Writing in the codes and getting the message that the servers are not avilable and then when trying agin the codes is already in use.... I bought this version with the ugly doll in it so i could get the good stuff, mp-5, sc3000, smg-2, shadow armor and infiltration mode. pushing a games realese date so much and still deliver f***** s***... not to mention can`t run it over 1024x768 in 23fps on a radeon 4890 toxic.....

Really, all the SC:C-CE (if you don't know what that means, then I have nothing to say) gives you is the Shadow Armor and afew luxury pieces.

All the guns are INGAME, you gotta pick em off bodies, but who really uses those in a stealth game?

And another thing, you can get the infiltration mode for free on Uplay!

Me and my friend have the same problem. We're also from Poland.

Guess it's not so good we got our copies beore the official PC premiere...

We should gather here and show that the problem is quite big.

I have the pre-order edition, and my code for SPAS isn't working for me, other than that, no problems so far. <STRIKE>Didn't try to get the Zveda yet though.</STRIKE> UBI, please help!

EDIT: Ok, i unlocked the Zvezda and guess what? I can't even connect. I can't look at my friend list nor I can make/join a coop game. What the hell? It says that "the server for the SC:C is unavailable at the moment. Please try again later".

Ok. I've ordered SCAR-H on Uplay and Zvezda also appeared. Strange, but I'm happy that finally it started to work.

VR Zvezda now works for me, so for now my only problem is the SPAS code which is 'already in use'
I'm also from Poland, and it seems like mostly polish people have this problem. Strange...

It seems that the problem is mostly with polish server. I've sent an email to ubisoftpoland@europesupport.com describing my (our) problem. According to "readme.txt" they should respond within two days..

However, besides of Sam Fisher figurine - it seems we've overpayed for Collector's Edition.
We already have all the weapons, Infiltration Mode from UPlay, but...

Tommorow is the first "work day" in Poland since PC premiere. I hope anyone will be able to help us somehow.

dlc2- SPAS-12- error, then- code in use

P.S. When I'm selecting one of available (from free DLC) bonus items (there are 2 guns & 1 mine), and next hit "down arrow" I see 2 other guns, both named 'undefined'... weird.

Update:
1) (SPAS 12) I've just opened email form Ubi Poland. They asked me to make a photo of my code and send back to them together with my Ubi account login. I'll get back to them tomorrow.
2) (Shadow armour + Infiltration + 3 weapons code) I've decided to use this (did not after seeing problems with SPAS...) works fine http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Zero reaction on the part of the Polish unit of the technical assistance.
We spent money and we stayed alone with our problems.
Since Ubisoft this way treats it customers I will thank for such treating and I will spend money for games of other publishers.

By the way, did any of you tried to get the 3rd Echelon map from gamespot? And did it work for you? I got my code but I'm afraid to use it since we have problems with codes...

I got mine yesterday. Doesn't work either - upon entering (tried multiple times yesterday and today) it always shows "invalid code". And unlike the SPAS code which I donít care about, I would really like to redeem this one and get the map.

Yeah, with SPAS it only hurts because it's something we got extra, and can't use, but with this map it's a bit different, because we won't be able to play with others that have it...

3rd Ech map code workes for me fine. I have received code yesterday, today used it and it is ok. Map is really cool.

Spas-12 code, I think I will forget about it or try to exchange my VR-Akali code for X-box with someone for new Spas 12 code. Ubi Poland did not great.... I'll try to call them tomorrow but I expect no answer...

The code for the map is the same as with the SPAS. I entered and got the sever unavailable alert, and then the 'code already used' error... It starts to **** me off

I don't believe that you are not reading this.. Can't you just call your colleagues from polish Ubi and tell them to do not play foolish games with customers. We are paying for your salaries!!!
Update:
It is told on website that support service will contact customers with problems within 48 hours. Contact was, asked for makeing of stupied code photos and has vanished. Come on guys!

I wrote to them, they answered in less then 3 hours asking for my code and telling me that they are working on it, and I sent the photo. Let's see if I get a reply in 2 days...
I don't really care about the SPAS so much, but it seems that i can't redeem any code, so if next extras will be activated by codes, I won't be able to get them. I don't like that...

Yeah, I know that some of you that sent an e-mail to them waits for over a week now. So I guess that the 'contacting customers with problems tells about only the first reply. And after the first reply it goes silent. I still hope that we will get a reply soon... but I don't expect much.
But what else we can do but wait?

so I send them 2 scans and still waiting

after patch 1.2 scc runs better, dlc works BUT NOT THE DLC CODES

I'm having the same problem. I just got the limited edition for PC today and when I entered the code, it said that the Ubisoft servers were not online. When I tried to enter the code again, it then claimed that the code had already been used. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif What on earth is going on here? Its been quite a while since the game was offically released for Xbox-360 and PC, there really should not be any problems. Is there a way to contact Ubisoft about this?

I've sent them scans of SPAS 12 & Shadow Armor codes and only info I get is that they're trying to figure out what's the problem.

Well you are lucky you have a code for shadow armor. I wanted it too, but before I could buy it, it was already sold out -_- So only SPAS for me... if it worked, that is.

As long as everyone alse. So it might be few days, few weeks, months, maybe never? Who knows? Being impatient won't help, but I do understand the frustration everyone concerned feel.

I already lost the patience to Ubisoft. How I already wrote I had a problem around Assassin's Cread 2, Settlers 7 and now Splinter Cell Conviction.

Ubisoft is ignoring it customers, their games are poorly done conversions of games around Xbox 360.

I noticed the 'ignoring' after the realease of Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, boy, so much problems with COOP...
But they did fix it a little. After few months...

We all feel that UBI is forgetting about us, but screaming in here and cursing won't help. If you need to complain, then spam the polish ubi support, since it's them that we ask for help.

Well the patch was directed to everyone and added the voice chat, finally, which works quite well. But it would be nice if they address our problem as well. I'm writing today to them again asking how is their progress. I don't expect much, but it's better then just waiting and writing here. If by any chance I'll learn something, I'll be sure to post.

Guys, I was in contact with Ubi Montreal and it seems that code which I have received DOES NOT EXISTS!!! in ubisoft system (so probably your's also). I was instructed to ask Ubisoft helpdesk for further support (by ubisoft.com)... I'm leaving to Paris for few days so will be not able to contact it until Friday EOB this week

That would explain the problem with the SPAS redeem code, but not the problem with the 3rd Echelon map redeem code... Something is still not right...

Items from both codes (from Pre-Order Pack & Collector's Edition) was unlocked by Ubisoft!

Yes, everything works. I got my SPAS12, I got my 3E map, and the new akali autfit is a nice weekly dlc http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif. We had to wait a bit, but we got what we wanted.
