Whoa! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif Never a good feeling if you sit in the middle seats and can see alongside the runway when you look out of the window.

Lockon`s Su-25T already have it, I dare Oleg not to include it! It`s one of the things I`m most eagerly waiting.

Go to this page if you vant to see Su25T landing with crosswind and go to bottom of the page, file Landing (you have to register):

orkan_3d , F19_Olli72 thanks for your share for that link

if BOB has a cross wind feature , I'm sure we will have a lot of good friends share a many good track files or video clips about their cross wind challenging same like we see in "Ernst Udet's landing" http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Hey JtD, and you can show me a cross wind shooting too http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Ohh, how about cross wind take off http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif hummm... the visibility is very good But how I do that with out hit any friends in runway http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

You had to be very good even to *survive* with WW1 air technology. And don't forget, Udet was 3rd ace of WW1 (62), only behind 'Red' Manfred (80) and Fonck (75), in a time when pilots normally only got one kill: themselves.

In fact, he killed himself for personal issues, not related to H moron.

I hope we will see the difference in skill level in AI pilots on landing in BOB, especially in bad conditions. Currently, the AI land perfectly time after time regardless of their skill level. This is NOT the case in RL. Pilots make mistakes, go around, overshoot, undershoot etc. For me one of the bigger single player immersion killers is AI who repeatedly land perfectly.

What personal issues, Dux? Everything I've read about the subject implies Udet suicide was related to BOB failure.

Not that I'm saying you're wrong. I'm just saying "Please, spare some links" http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif.

well then read some more (galland book for example)

Udet was a fighter pilot and not a behind-the-desk-logistic-leader, and they (Nazi leadership) pressed him to work behind the desk and to make grand decisions , and Ernest simply was not the type for the job. That killed him.. Responsibility that he didn€t wanted and was always telling everybody that he doesn€t want it.

The same almost happened to galland, but he managed to stay where he could do his best.

The opening clip from "Always". Not to hijack the thread, but that's one of my favorite movies.

Ok, so he commited suicide because he was put behind a desk.

Now it's clear to me. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/shady.gif
