Im having a bit of trouble getting stats from my server, does anyone have or know a guide to help me set this up?

I've installed the 204 dedicated server, updated it to 408, and installed the server commander. Its all running on a clean win2003 std install, and it seems to run fine.
But i would like to keep stats and publish them on a website.

Tips are very welcome http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I believe the stats, with IL2SC, is a separate download:

Hi ArisB,
As dbillo said stats are a separate download, once you have downloaded, extract the il2sc_stat folder to your web space then point your browser to the install.php which is in your root il2sc_stat folder, eg http://your web address/il2sc_stat/install.php. This brings up a installation page where you can set various options, like ports, whether pilots have to be registered to fly and a few other options.

Ok, i have now apache, php and MySQL installed.
I got to the install.php page, but when i press next i get an error: HTTP 500 - internal server error.

So something is not working right, but atleast im getting somewhere http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Hi ArisB,
Make sure you have your permissions setup so that the machine you're on can write to the mysql database and also has rights to write to the il2sc_stat folder.

I got it working now http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I removed php, mysql and apache and installed wamp server 2.0

wamp is an all in one package of php, sql en apache, and it worked right away.

good one http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/clap.gif If you are handy with mysql queries and a bit of php coding you can extract extra info for your stats, some I have done are here http://wte-anga.com/WAW_stat/index.php?navigation=

Click on the "Killstreak" link on the left.

So i now have my dedicated server and the stats page running.

So we had a test run yesterday (dogfight).

While we were playing i could see wich map was playing, who was online and the scores for each player when i clicked the 'view details' link in the 'Now on server' square.
The number of players on each team is also correctly displayed.

But the list of Fighter Pilots, Plane types and Bomber Pilots in the 'Main Page' is still empty

The overal statistic remains empty too.

Are these list only for registerd members or something like that?

I have registerd myself on the webpage and i can login under Pilot Profile but i have failed to logon in the game itself.

i have tried to login like this:
Pressed ~
then typed: <Logon<password

But i got the message incorrect password.

My nickname i registered with on the webpage is ArisB wich is allso my nickname ingame.

Am i doing something wrong?

And one other thing caught my attention, when i disconnect from server, my name still shows up in the player list. When i reconnect i get a message that my connection is terminated, then my name disappears from the player list and i can join again. Is this normal?

No, I suspect that you may not have ticked the use mysql option when setting up IL2SC

No, this option is, again, setup on the main config page and is mainly used when you only want registered players flying on your server.

In the admin section of the setup gui you can enter details there so that you can log on ingame as the admin, format would be like;
*:ArisB:yourpassword:1

Instead of the * at the start you can stipulate and ip address if you wish, but be aware if you happen to be over a mates place you won't be able to log on from there.
In game you would bring up the chatbar and type in <admin<mypassword and then press enter, and you should then see the word GOD on screen.

No, occasionally IL2SC still thinks you are ingame, generally doesn't do any harm, haven't heard of the connection terminated message though. When this happens here I generally use phpMyAdmin to reset the activeusers table.

Hope this helps

I have the 'Use MySQL' checked.

but on the MySQL setting i have 'Address' set to 'Localhost'. (everything is running one 1 server)

Maybe i should fill in the ipaddress there instead.

localhost should work fine, you could try the ip 127.0.0.1 When you say all on the one machine do you mean everything including the IL2SC interface is on the same machine or is mysql/php on another machine on your local network? If on another machine on your local network you will probably have to put it's ip address in. You could also check using phpMyAdmin or the like to see if data is actually being written to the database - every mission should have data in the mission, sorties, and killboard tables.

I have checked my phpadmin,

there i can select the database il2sc, and i can see tables with records.

the chat table is filled, and i also see the pilots in the pilots table (me, and a friend of mine), but the killboards are empty.

I checked log files but ant find anything weird in there.
Could it be that il2stats doesn't work on win2003 server? maybe i should try it on XP

Hmmmm, our squad runs ours on Win2003 server so that shouldn't be the problem, obviously the data is not being written to all the dbase tables, but why some and not others I'm at a loss there. If you want to pm me your il2sc.ini and your server confs.ini file I'll have a look see if I can spot anything there, take out/change passwords etc first http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
