I read on this board a few months ago that the Thunderbolt's pit was going to be redone. Anyone have any more info on this? Thanks...

We can only hope, Sledge.
Rumors are that someone was working on a pit and it was lost in a system crash.
Let's hope there was some redundancy in place.
Only time will tell.

My offer to chip in some $$$$ to get the P47N flyable for Pacific Fighters still stands. Need updated pit for the existing models as well. K14 sight and tail-warning radar too please. See the cone with the red lamp? http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Don't use the P51 gyro sight, but it juuust may be effective in the Jug.

I think there was some work being undertaken to visually improve the current P-47 cockpits. Not sure if that ever went anywhere but it was offered to Luthier and then all was silent...presumably under the blanket of the infamous NDA.

P-47N is more mysterious...we heard it was gone in a data crash...but not sure on the specifics.
