The site looks really good. Well done guys !

Looks like the AOD radio is back :-), but from the game description it looks like a fully dynamic campaign will not be included :-(

I hope the dev team realizes that a lot of people will not buy the game if a dynamic campaign is not included.

Also noticed interesting details on the screenshots, like for instance the tanks on the deck of the merchant, the detailed radio, the bridge crew in the liberator attack screen shot.

Is the handrail that is visible in the liberator attack image realistic ? I seem to remember that a handrail was mainly around the deck gun, and not around the whole ship. Or am I wrong ?

The enigma looks very interesting as well.

PS: And don't forget to hit the night/day and surface/dive button

Isn't the handrail for use in port?

Did you notice the crates and Sherman tanks on the freighter? Or all those pipes and wires inside the boat? Friggin details all over there. You can even make out the silhouette of the destroyer from below in that external view screenshot where it just drops some "trash cans". Of course everything's a bit blurry underwater. Really cool.

yeah, awesome looking stuff so far, I agree. What I am still waiting for, however, are some screenies of what the coast looks like, if there will be trees or stuff on it or if it'll look as plain and boring as in SH2 http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/blink.gif

After the Ultimation/SH2 desaster I had decided to keep expectation very low for SH3.
But after the site is online I must say thumbs up to the dev team. There are indications they know what they are doing, and so far SH3 seems to be a well managed software project with a lot of potential. If the game will be non-linear, mod-friendly and realistic, I'll definitely buy it. Hopefully he first WW2 subsim in what seems like a century, since AOD.

Let me add that I hope they not become over-ambitious. i.e. game will be announced for years, and finally released in uncomplete state. This is a lesson which can be learned from many other projects. I just don't wanna see another neverending story like with SH2, which was first announced in 1997 and sounded like the ultimate subsim then.
