At last decent clothing for the officers and sailors that is slightly modelled from Das Boot - nice work to who done it! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

Only one problem, the link is sending me to the filefront homepage - where is the mod?

Our older son Hadley, 21 months old, woke up at 4:19 this morning and decided he ought to check if Monty was OK. Cue lot's of screaming when I told him he was to go back to bed. He didn't. Neither did I. Neither did our neighbours I expect. Yaaaawn. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/disagree.gif

the install is rather complex as far as the read me in the mod ...this mod will be included in the new gw update ...the placing of the new clothes is fairly simple if you only want to see some new clothes..i only added the "bodys" files and only did 4 of them ...if you want to add the new clothes you need to go into "data" and then crew ..the 2 folders you need to use are located in "body01" now you should see some files and 2 folders ..1 named off and 1 pos ..i simply removed the clothes in them and made a folder ondesktop called "washday" i put the stock clothes in "washday"..then added 4 clothes files into "off" and "pos"..to get the full use i'm going to wait untill it comes out in the update ..i just wanted new clothes ..hope this helps...if you can't get this to work this way ...ask me i'll try to help ..i also placed all the unused clothes files in "washday".. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/winky.gif..i did it this way becuse i did not feel like going into crew config files at 0230..never a good plan...but my little install seems to be running fine as it is ...

Yeah Ive been using those skins for awhile they are nice. You need to find the hand fix that makes them look more like the face color. I will see if I can find a link.

The Hands_Look_Better mod is available at U-Boot.Realsimulation.com under the SH3 Mods General Section.

It's too bad there isn't a way to mod some winter clothing. Seeing your crew in t-shirts in the middle of February, in the middle of the Atlantic, looks alittle rediculous. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif

Except for the fact that he is right about that being out first on subsim.com This is not a "this site is better" thing, but subsim gets a heads up on new stuff first most of the time.

Ain't it funny how groups of 2 always show up here advertising BETTER WEBSITES & SEA WOLVES STOLEN MOD EXPANSION. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/10.gif

Oh i dont deny they have better news.

I just find it a bit cheeky to go around and advertise other forums.. i know im on a couple of others and on those, people will go absolutely bonkers at any sort of implication that other forums are any better, etc.. They wont here cos we're all level-headed. but surely you get the drift?

I wonder just what SK & FD are doing here if the other forum is sooo much better. I mean, let's face it, here people are kind enough to offer helpfull advice for free, post out GW mod discs to other forum buddies for free, not rubbish other forums etc.
Basically, if you don't like it here - go away. If you think it's ok here, no worries just don't keep bashing us over the head with subsim propaganda.

Hi,

About the crew skins mod.
I installed it along with the new general
crew ones, but the general crew ones don't seem to be working in campaign games new or saved?
I tried a single mission and they worked then...

Anyone know had the same problem/know how to sort it out?

Just because you live on one forum doesnt doesnt mean that others have other things to offer. Stop being such a fanboy.

And to HeibgesU999, no this mod does not change where the awards are. In fact some of the awards are MIA due to the skin pack. Best thing to do is keep the Rank_Deco_ND from the default skins or use another mod's file.

@Realjambo. Thank's for letting me know about that, it's certainly not intentional.
I will do a full system scan tonight and hopefully that will be the end of it.
I just hope it has not got anywhere with anyone else.

As for my name, DarkOmen is my goth/net name

http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif Say, one thing I was grateful to see in this mod was the addition of gloves worn with the foul weather gear. These poor bastards have gone on long enough without them.

@DarkOmen, No worries. I guessed it probably wasn't anything you had done intentionally, I was just a bit surprised to recieve it. It's only polite to let you know I informed VK, the moderator, just in case it is your machine sending out infected stuff with out you knowing, and to see if any other forum members had got the same thing. I don't blame you my friend. Happy hunting.

What did your system scan bring up?
