Be sure to dl and read the MANUAL before you start. Too bad it has no sound, but this sim is a lot of fun!!

Ahaaa, good old Orbiter http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Yes this is good, and yes, RTFM!!!!

It also helps a bit if you understand some orbital mechanics, but it isn't necessary. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Yes, this is pretty good. I had a lot of fun with this...but let's just say, I'm no astronaut!

ah but it DOES have sound!
AND a new version WITH online play is coming http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

For add-ons see
http://www.orbitmods.com/
and
http://library.avsim.net/index.php

Be warned - it has a steep learning curve http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif - but it's loads of fun http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I even felt good when I first crashed on the moon - I hit it at least http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif hehe

And if you want a real challenge - try landing on Phobos http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Orbiter sound pack can be found here : http://orbiter.dansteph.com/index.php?disp=d

Oh and not only RTFM but also VTFF (visit the -uknowwhat- forum!)
