Just want to know if Thrustmaster Top Gun Afterburner II is a good joystick (or is it called HOTAS?) for a person that's new to simming? was planning on getting the x45 but this one is much cheaper and i dont want to spend too much if i find it boring ( which atm seems impossible )

So back to the question, will the top gun be enough or should i get something better?

Since anyone can overcome the inaccuracy of any stick (given enough time), I'd say: go with the cheapest stick and play till you break it.

Maybe then you'll know if you want to invest in something of better quality (and of course, higher price).

My opinion is that the X-52 is the best stick ever for the money but if you're looking for an inexpensive, quality stick, I would recommend the Saitek Cyborg Evo.
