An interum is when every half-quarter (or an eighth) the school sends out mail that tells if the student has any grades lower than a B. I have a C in algebra in 7th grade (algrebra is a 9th grade class)

Where at?

I had Algebra in 5th grade. Of course, I also went to private school. :/

Not that it mattered since the crappy CA public school system had me take it again in 7th grade, IIRC, even though I got straight A's before.

It is my feeling that the internet will tach you more than if you are in school. Learn at your own pace, learn what you want and what interrests you not learning poems and ****. I like Art,history,math,physics, computer science,automotive,paint,carpentry,plumbing. All possible because the net is a great reference and its a better teacher/instructor than what a teacher can do. Anyways college is there to take your money anymore. I dont hear of them building more colleges I just hear only that prices go up and up. Highest price for a book I know of was an art book selling for 550$ US dollar. Now thats BS! Who could afford it anyways. Point is you put your money forward as an ante. If you fail , you loose it all. I can say I got straight c's in school and college. I dont care about tests is why. Im turned off when there is a test. CHOOSE THE MOST CORRECT ANSWER!!?!?!?!! Thats the biggest piss me off test tehre can be! Well anyways I can say that on my own I learned and know how to be slef sustaining by:

-painting my own car
-put shingles on my roof
-plumbing
-welding/repairing
-VCR/TV/computer/electronics repair
-change my own tires,filters,oil,gastank,struts
balljoints,transaxles etc...

on and on and on.

My motto is: if its man made its pathetic. Anyone who invented it can fix it. If you have the tools then you have half the tallent. Patience is all you need and the knowledge to do it can be found faster on the internet or asking friends than spending time in college or school. Those places are introductory anyways. I have a good job. I make money and im comfortable. I'm not a farmer out west on an isolated farm somewhere where they mostly are on their own and learn on their own. They seem to learn on on their own. Read about Albert Einstein. He didnt care much for school. Go play SHIII! It wont hurt! But only maybe spankings do? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_redface.gif

I hated private school and what a waste it was in the city of NewYork. When I moved to PA at the age of 16 I started going to public school in the country. The tearchers cared, school rooms wasnt crouded and learning was more quick. The private school I was in has evil church sisters. All they wanted was tuition money. It was very political. They pulled on my ears and wipped me with a stick on my hands. Just because they were all backed by the church and were hot shot sisters in black everything doesnt mean they are above God. Boy it sure seemed like it. Pissed me off.

I'll cure that:

I'we got SH3 preordered and it will arrive on the 18th (friday next week). Well today my putter just locked up in the middle of a game. I thought nothing of it and just fired it up again (windows isn't that stable http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif ) and continued with my game. After a while it locked up again and then i got supicious.

I opened up the box and found that my Leadtek gfx card was extremely hot. I did a few test and noticed that the fan wasen't turning at it's normal speed but instead it had almost stoped. I toucht it gently and it started spinning again. I watcht it for a while and then put the box toghter again. Fired Windows up and resumed gaming.

Didn't take long before the putter hanged again but this time i coulden't get the fan up to speed again. But that wasen't the worst. The graphics was a screwed up. I coulden't see anything on the screen. I tried a few thing but when they didn't work i called the store where i bought the card and described my problem. He told me there was nothing to do and that i should come in on Monday with the card. I asked him if they would repair it or replace it. He said that they were going to replace it since all cards are returned to the manufacturer.

Ok i thought, all good and then he says: Unfortenately we don't have your card in stock and new ones will be delivered in 8 days. WWWAAAAAA that means that i wont get my new card before friday next week which means no SH3 for me next week, at all http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

At my private school, there were only 8 people in my class, about 20 in my entire grade. At my public school there were too **** many students to count. I went to a Presbyterian Private School so no nuns, getting slapped on the wrist, or uniforms (we had a dress code though). Nothing really political at all either, just plain education. Math, History, English, and P.E. from 8am to 5pm, 5 days a week, year around. I had a LOT more fun in private school then in public school. When I got to public school, the level of education was pathetic. In my private school we had a test we had to take every year that ranked us on a national scale and the results were given to our parents. I had a blast while there. Going to public school was a real let down. Everybody there seemed behind in education, drive, and maturity. There were definately some fun times in public school and I met some great friends but with regards to the schooling, it was sub-par at best.

But I must say, public school teaches you more about life and dealing with adverse situations then private school does. That's for **** sure.

Banzai, don't get mad when your Mom when she does stuff like this. In the end you'll understand the reasoning behind it.

It is better to have a parent that cares too much then not enough.

Cheer up Alex.

as George Harrison says "All Things Must pass" Just keep telling yourself that and SHIII will have its day and a good one at that.

If its any consolation I'll have mine onFriday all things going well but first I need a new tower w/ a more powerful processor.
So I'll just enjoy the manual recognition and functional and read how all you guys are making out.

He who has patience will win.

All the Americans will be going on and on about the game and:

A. I wont even be allowed to go to this forum to drool over it;
B. My friends will leave me for a week because ill either be talking about wat i read in the manual or reading it;

But, alas, i have some hope. I have a writing assignment due friday (none to big) and i will be able to type it. Thus i can run the install in the background, and maybe even play the game in non-full screen mode so i can easily minimize it.
