Scheduled for release in the next 7-10 days. This is an 11 mission offline static campaign where the player flies a Ki-84B Hayate fighter against USAAF and USN a/c in summer 1945. The campaign will feature fighter-bomber and B-29 intercepts, recces, patrols and escorts. US a/c will feature all end-of-war types, incl. P-51D, P-47D, Corsair, P-38L, etc. Hope you enjoy it. Release will be on M4T, as usual.

Definitely looking forward to this--bringing down B-29s (or trying too) always leaves me feeling warm and fuzzy inside.

I'm sorry to wreck it for you, but 1 of the B-29 missions has the player flying the 84C with 30mm guns. I guess that takes all the fun out of it though...............

my congrats for not putting the 84C in is too soon lol

could be fixed though, if the US has the P80 at the same time http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

If I should know something historical about the 84C not being used, please tell me and I will re-write that mission and use the 84B.

How'd that Bf-110 get in there?

It's a hack by Pappy Boyington for the Ki-45 Toryu. Here's the link for the skin...

http://www.freewebs.com/gregboyington/ijaafki4546.htm

The Ki-45 was used as a twin engine bomber destroyer during the B-29 offensive. I also use the funny Ki-46 with the massive gun pointed upwards and d/l-ed some of those skins by Pappy as well. In fact, I used all the Pappy skins I could. They're gorgeous.
