Is it just me or do some of the effects look enhanced in Manchuria? Was thinking about the pic of the IL-10 strafing the Japanese airfield... smoke seems to be better with more color tones? Or is it just me :P

Anyways, GREAT to see an update. I'd almost given up hope on the IL-2 series updates :P

About the trench, is it coming in one piece or there are a couple of individual segments?
Because if it's in one piece, it's not so usefull and it will be boring to see it repeated in each front line we build. If you have the segments you can build a front line always looking different.
If we get the segments it'll be a fantastic addition to the ground scenery!

Yea you guys act all happy now and you should be but... we all know how its gonna be when its released, don't we? The first 5 pages of the thread list will be gripping about stuff we all know it there will be the ki-27 gun button is red instead of dark red or the flaps dont sound with on the il-2 or his is too ast or that is too slow or there isnt a good damage modle for that ne and that ones uber .
sorry just the way I feel at the moment I guess I'm just in a bad mood but still its all gonna happen. It just makes stuff hard to enjoy when you have to sit through all of that junk ya know?

Yes, definitely http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif I think it'll take a lot of fiddling to make something of any great size, viz. Lowfighter's comment, but using sandbags & other objects & the orientation keys & smoke, I reckon I can do something convincing enough for diehard two-wingers.

I did note that Luthier reported some problems getting this feature to work, so we may never see it. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_confused.gif It'll probably only work on flat parts of the mesh.

I'm still looking forward to the other additions - but any kind of trench would be neat.
