That long ahhhhhhhhhhhh was a yawn because it is late and i am about to go to bed. Anyway, I just wanted to say it is so cool being able to talk to the people you are playing with. No more loosing control of the aircraft while i type a message. Obviously all my flights arent with TS but i look forward to the ones that are. I just started playing online last night and using TS today(all of you who know me know that i just upgraded my system). So to all who really don't want to bother with it, go get a 4 dollar microphone(like i did) from fry's and enjoy the game on a whole new level. And vef makes flying seam so much more inportant too. Thanks and good nite. Oh i am _vr_c_adder on HL if anyone wants to fly with us or me.

A truly wise man will always be humbled.

Comms in general are absolutely necessary if you want to save your butt or coordinate with others. Can't say I'm a huge fan of TS though, my experience is 60% choppy and unintelligable. I'd take Roger Wilco over it for reliability. But my squad uses Ventrilo with virtually no trouble so far. TS is the community favorite, so you're more likely to get more use out of it, but I recommend trying Ventrilo...amazing clarity!!

Comms in general, no matter what program one preferes, gives a huge advantage while in fligth as well as to add to the immersion and fun factor! We decided to offer TeamSpeak to the players of F16_Dedicated a while ago on these grounds and it's really fun to be able to speak to the different players when on either side in the game! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
