Ok guys, here's the thing.
I'm getting a new computer.
I've got one at IbuyPower that looks good (basics: 1 gig of RAM, AMD FX-55 3800 Processor i believe (i dont have the page open right now))
But anyways.
Now for the video card option.
I dont know which would be a better choice.
Opting for the X800 Pro 256MB, or the GeForce 6800 Ultra?
I figured you all in here would know best about the here say and the word that travels through the grape vine. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks guys

If the choices are between the standard X800 Pro or the 6800 ultra, I'd have to say go for the Ultra flavor of the 6800.

Newer technology, and PS3.0 support.

But of course, that's only my opinion.

Here's a recent comparison of the "non-ultra" GT version of the 6800 and the X800 pro.: http://www.pyroport.com/reviews/35.asp

Thanks for that Thunderbolt!
Realizing that both are great cards, i think based on that review i may go with the GeForce6800 Ultra.
It got better scores in the actual games where it really counts.
Thanks for that.
Guys opinions are still welcome http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
so if you've got something to say, go for it!
