For those of you who may interested M4T is hosting an interview (http://mission4today.com/index.php?name=Content&pid=60) on the background development and future of Mission Mate.

It is an interview that I was pleased to participate in and feel that it gives a good overview of the entire project as well as future directions.

Anyone that may have any questions or suggestions about the direction and improvement of Mission Mate please email me at missionmate@ihug.co.nz I would be pleased to hear from you. There is not much time before the IL-2 series closes for its big brother SoW.

That is a great interview. It sums up the differences between the UQMG & MM better than I ever could but also fully explains why both should be essentials for any FB flyer. I like the idea of being able to use templates from the FMB. That would actually close some of the differences. One of the things I like most about MM is it's interface. It doesn't feel so... foreign to the sim.. since you used a lot of the same graphic thingamabobs..

Do you and Damien have any plans to colaborate? Perhaps when SoW comes out, depending on what is built into that of course, you guys can work together. Then again who knows... even if the QMB of SoW is more versatile than what we have in FB (Which it probably will be..) Perhaps there will be some other area of expansion that you can jump off into. Necessity is after all the mother of invention.
