I have yet to see someone respond to any of my posts(and there aren't many) since I have been part of the community. I have every IL-2, Lock-on, Flaming Cliffs, etc. and been on this site for years yet never get a simple response. I don't get it. Someone surely has to know the answer to my previous post.

Maybe your CPU question would have gotten better response if posted on the Technical Support forum.

Sorry...don't know the answer to your question myself.

Yeah mate chill out, you have made 3 posts in total. 1st was a reply to someone elses post to which there was replies after that, second was a technical post in possibly the wrong place in the forums but still - it was only about 20 minutes ago you made that post? Maybe leave it a bit more time before complaining that nobody has answered yet. I would help you if I could but it's not an area that I know too much about.

Only spam threads here are popular, hopefully the mods will change that.

Its sad but questions, pilot stories, good books, new dvds with guncam and interviews etc all get a few replies usually get overlooked.

Go back to your original post type something so it bumps it up to the top of the page till someone replies.

Ya, when I first came here, before this sim went AEP 1944 Western Europe Dogfight, alot of threads were about stuff like that. Its UBI where I got lots of links to WW2 I never knew about.

Then they releaced the AEP. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

nah it was the same before aep same with sturmo, simhq was always the place for the good threads, you do more time reading there then posting.

a bunch of people would just take posts from there and post them here in sturmo and fb. I wouldnt blame aep or pf on the forums, it started getting bad when Pilots Loungue was canned. that and half the people moved to simhq and cwos then all the groups just use these forums to spam and cause problems.

Thank you for the reply's I do appreciate them. The reason for my frustration was because forums used to be where you can get help, but they have turned into nothing more than chat rooms IMO. For the ones that think this belongs in tech support than I disagree because I don't need help on a tech issue. I need to discuss and get some opinions that will help me decision on my upgrade. Tech support is for problems, correct? Sorry for my aggravation and once again thank you for replying.

Yeah, but most of the people who know that **** inside and out hang out in the tech area.

I'm a software man myself. I know just enough about hardware to piece together a system after doing about 8 hours of research. On the other hand, I WRITE software. Anyways, what I'm saying is that I can't help you there.

Tip: if you want a question answered start a new thread, questions put in other peoples threads can get overlooked http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Yep - tech forum is where you'll get, well, technical questions answered.

Dunno why as it's now called 'Community Help' when you get there but short cut from GD still calls it by what it is http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
