Has anyone bought these and is the detail and overall quaility worth the price? I have been buying the 1:72 matchbox and liked them alot but they have been very hard to find.

Buy some 1/72 scale Dragon and Tamiya kits instead. They are definitely worth the price and better yet, you can make sure they look like what you want.

They are not diecast.... they are plastic.... but the quality is very good, in great detail, really worth the price.

I am in HK (Dragon is a company in HK) and if you want them, I can buy for you, should be cheaper than those online shop http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Corgi and dragon are the best die cast model makers out there, but dragon models are so rare http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

I don't know where you are in the world. This is the Dragonusa site where I saw the Die cast line.

I get mine from www.greatmodels.com (http://www.greatmodels.com) in both 1/48th and 1/72. Mostly 1/48th since it can be really worked over in that scale for detail. Right now I'm working on Dragon's 1/48th Ho 229. Marking it as a Luft '46 Hartmann ride. I also have several of their T34 tanks. They make great kits and Great Models is overflowing with them.
