Question for you, i'm curious to know now that you have got the merged install, what your favorite planes are so far?

Well I like the bf 109 models and also the j8 biplane to just mess around in, but I haven't flown evrything yet but I like those planes even though online I get chased down like a dog and killed everytime I fly them.
I like the yaks a bit also and still figuring out what all the new spits do and then theres the do-335 which I love when I'm tryin to take out some aaa its great for bombing runs and you can get out of trouble with it in a dogfight also.
And I was in a server hosted by Dark_Helmet.

the Emil is my favourite plane in the entire sim .. just fun to fly

i might be perverse .. but i actually liked the BoB version of the Emil from FB days with manual prop pitch only

I finally got a TA-152 from a Yak 3...nice fireball, but I got no points..bah! Winged a B-17 and took some bits off a Spit, but others finished them off...ah, well. At least things are looking up after being cannon fodder for quite awhile. I also took out some AA in a Tempest.....then had to bail after getting jumped...planes came from all directions to have ago at me after I shot up their airfield with rockets. Good fun. Those low level furballs are a nightmare. I like the sneaky JABO action.

Congrats slo! got track? LOL
Man learning the flying thing can be frustrating. I'm often flying with my girlfriend and another good friend of us online, they have just made their first kills, and damn i have a hard time clearing their tails and trying to help them steepen the learning curve. Sometimes they'll get 1-3kills in a 3hour-session, while getting shot down lots of times. I wonder how they keep going.
Still fun flying with them, and good to see folks getting addicted http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif
So if ya see me online as JG27_PapaFly, together with Maj_Dynamite (my gf http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/heart.gif ) and Whiteknuckles, drop me a message, i often host coops and other training sessions with them.
So far they fly spits, and whiteknuckles fell in love with the 109K4 and the Do335.

seriously, been trying that for months... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif

Lol, i think it's rather a question of choosing the right one, if you know what i mean. I'm 29 years old, and my gf is the only woman i know who has an interest in flying. We're both plane crazy, although she likes helicopters more. It is so coool being able to share the whole flying thing. I think this is decided very early i childhood, and you either become a potential plane-lover, or not.

During my frantic spraying of lead on his plane I think I beaned him in the head,...so no http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/1072.gif
I don't like killing the pilots it makes me feel kinda bad even with AI and don't ask why cause I don't know. Some people on the other hand mostely shoot to kill the pilot which is how I am taken down most of the time online.
I also got good shots on a few other planes setting them to smoking , stopping engines.holes in wings but someone else always got them before they crashed.

Does your Mom know you said ****?

Speaking about Mom's, what do your parent's think of the game. They were so nice to get it for you, have you let them try it?

slo_1_2_3
04-09-2006, 03:13 PM
They weren't nice I hadta pay for everything and they only ordered it to make me shut the heck up.
And mom thinks its a waist of time and dad doesn't understand that it is a simulator and just takes it away when I'm in the middle of a campaign and screws it all up.
Aparently they still haven't figured out that I'm interested in aviation. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

Or ....
they could hit my in the face with a shovel and bury me in a sidewalk. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif

PBNA-Boosher

I like sidewalks. Don't worry, it took a while to get through to my parents too. But you'll get through.

Honestly though, why a shovel? Propeller's work too, and some can turn the opposite way.

slo_1_2_3
04-09-2006, 08:17 PM
I don't know I just have a shovel no propellers laying around, considering they cost 10 grand I don't think they would break that on my face.
