I'm extremely saddened to hear that Robert Lee Scott Jr, famous from his God is My Co-Pilot and numerous other books, just passed away on Monday.

I know we lose a lot of veterans, but this one was a bit of a personal blow to me. I picked up his book at the library about a month ago and enjoyed every page of the book. I was even about halfway finished with making a campaign about the book and was even going to try to contact him in Georgia. I'm at a loss for words. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

I have had the honor of meeting Mr. Scott way back in 1988 at the Museum of Flight in Seattle. First impression was he was one tall fella and always was willing to meet anyone with a firm handshake and that big smile of his.
I even have his autographed book: The Day I owned the Sky I got while there too and he was one of my childhood heros. Like my grandfathers before me, I thanked him for his services. With each passing of people I have always known for so long, it makes me feel that much older.
Rest in Peace Bob and may the winds always lift your wings high.
