You guys really need to do something about that distance fog in PF. I got clostrophobia from looking at today's screens. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I think you have a good point there from what we have seen in the screenshots and the very nice movies there is no fog at sea that should be there right, it looks to much like clear sealing al the way don€t it? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

Unless in a rainstorm or some other intervening condition, visibility in the Pacific is generally quite good below the cloud bases, unlike the North Atlantic. 40 miles or more isn't unususal depending on where you are and the season. If you get near large tropically vegatated land masses, the jungle does generate quite a haze. Say around Singapore, I have seen haze visibilites around 3-5 miles.

At sea away from the equatorial zone, in the tradewinds, visibilities are generally pretty good, depending on the direction of the sun, which does a lot to emphasize any haze there is. Flying North from Australia towards Northern China a couple of weeks ago, we could see New Guinea perhaps 100 miles away down sun(from 40,000'). The photo of the 'landing' TBF on the Saratoga, posted elsewhere on this forum illustrates this brightness of the atmosphere which can reduce contrast a lot, directionally.

Visibility there is like mabye a mile... Any chance of a conf.ini line for those of us with less-than-crappy PC?
