Forgive me if this bug has been noticed before and posted on. But I just noticed that the flyable B-25 has a lockable tail wheel!! But the plane does not have one, it has a nose wheel instead!!

Not only that, if you attempt to either land or take off with the invisible tail wheel locked, it will cause you to bust up and crash the plane. I think it's actually locking the nose wheel and when you try to use rudder, it puts "virtual stress" on the gear and causes them to break?!?!?! Landings without the lock on are normal and plane holds together.

They seem to be modeled only for the sake of being a gimmick. If they don't cast light, then to hell with 'em, couldn't care less if they are or are not modeled.

S'OK, the A-20G has a steerable nosewheel, something it lacked in RL---had to be turned with brakes/mismatched engine power.

Thanks but it doesn't work for me but I have an old computer and run at low settings to preserve frame rate. I have my lighting setting on medium. So it may depend on how high you can set your graphics settings. So I'm both wrong and right then. It depends on how new your PC is, for those of us with old PCs, we are stuck with low graphic settings.

So they're gimmicks or not? Yes for people running 486 DX2-66 and no for everyone else http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
