Yikes, this sounds painful; a tiny parasitic fish can be attracted by the chemicals excreted in urine:

I'm thinking I will name my first command in SH4 after that critter: USS Candiru.

Yikes! Not only is that the reason why I have a Britta filter on my faucet, but it's also the reason why I don't dive into rivers and lakes here in Texas.

Where I live there's a little snake we affectionately call the "Cottonmouth" (a.k.a. Water Moccasin). I also have snapping turtles and Alligator Gar... all hazards to one's manhood!

Just imagine the doc's trying to get it out! Or even worse, it stays in there and your member turns purple and falls off http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/sadeyes.gif I bet you you would learn your lesson well if you swam in the amazon without the proper "protection"

Do ya think a subnet installed across the "bay" would help protect us? heh

I once swam and urinated a few times in the Mekong River, luckily this fish is not in that river system, but I feel like I dont want to take chances again. Ouch
