I've just got this kit ( a Christmas present from my son ) and was wondering if anyone knew what the words written on the tail mean? Thy seem to say "Ha Poguhy Cno de A ou o!" I've tried Google translate in a few languages but to no avail.

unfortunately what ever is written doesn't make sense, who ever wrote this clearly doesn't speak russian...

I really don't know what it means but it is difficult to read on your attached link.
It is easier to see the text on the decals of your kit. Maybe a little bit more helpful to somebody who speaks, writes, reads Russian.

I just happened to see the skin for this particuliar YAK-3 at:

I beleive it says "Help!, Messerschmitts got this cat by the tail!"
http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif
Common Soviet writings are
"Are you so sure this thing flies?"
"Which way to my crash site?"
"All of our bases will be belonging to you."
"Luftwaffe target drone in training"
and my all time favorite
"Due to wartime shortages this plane is made of Russian wood, Comrade workers sweat, and German bullets!"

I've seen a Czechian modelkit site (RS Models) and they produced all kind of extraordinary resin models. No Spits, Bf-109's or Stuka's but Skoda, Weserflug or Reichenberg. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif

"Luftwaffe target drone in training"
"Too heavy to fly"
"Warning: watch for falling peices"
"Crashing for comrade Stalin"

Well that is odd.

When flying a Yak, any 109 or 190 that is unlucky enough to pull up in front, beside, or behind me will be dead within 1-3 turns.

HayateAce, are you sure you have tried other Jaks besides the 3?

Jak-1 and Jak-7 are planes for real pilots. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Jak3 vs. 109G2 is also a good fight. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

"Ha! My d*ck is excruciatingly stupendous!" in a very loose translation.

Babelfish translates it as "TOGA! TOGA! TOGA!"

Yes, Yak3 and G2 is a good fight. Comes down to the pilot. Don't care much for the 1, 7 or 9, and I am a "real pilot".

Also, Yak1B vs 109G2 or F4 is a good fight. The Yaks are for sniper pilots only, sprayers and prayers need not apply.

I gotta say, a Yak beats a Spit in terms of beauty any day the week. http://media.ubi.com/us/forum_images/gf-glomp.gif

Yes sexy little targets arent they. Ill agree that a Yak fighter looks better than a Spit in my Revi gunsight.....but just barely! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

it sais: "Do not disturb - pilot's sleeping" http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

or:

"aim somewhere else! It took me an hour to paint a proper red star!"

or:
"Don't shoot! Baby on board"

or how 'bout this:
"If you can read this...I'm scr*wed!" http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
