Hi,
I always try to follow what I have read about stalls and spins and how to avoid them, (keeping your airspeed high etc) but always seem to get into them. What is the best way to avoid stalling and spinning?
Thanks for any help.

U can stall in high speed too if the plane has efficient elevators. Actually u can do it in most planes.

The best way to avoid flips and spinns is to be careful with pulling hard on the stick and/or adding rudder in slow speeds. The p40 is easily put into spinn when u do this and it usually need several thousand meters to recover, if at all.

In Fiat G50 U can pull quite hard even in slow speeds, but if U add rudder to this it will flip at once.

So it depends on what plane u fly.
109's handle very well in slow speeds compared to spits and p51d's. The spit turns well but is very difficult to handle in slow speeds.

Thanks guys for the help!

I normally fly the FW190 if axis or the P-47D-27 or P-51D if on allied, if that helps at all?
