Can anyone out there give me a link to an original or official information/pics of the color scheme of the Marines SNJ-4 of 1943?

I have all I need for USAAF colors, just dont have any for the Marines.
Thanks

How about doing a Google search and clicking on Images?

Or the Squadron/Signal books are a *great* resource.

I have only two pictures of SNJ-4's that are positively identified as being taken in 1943 and one color plate. The standard camouflage scheme of intermediate blue over gray USN scheme was used on all of these. Aircraft in the last 1/3 of 1943 often had the national insiginia with white bars and a red surround displayed.

The color photograph shows a Corsair and an SNJ that are in private hands and the SNJ color is definitely Mid 1944 or later, but overall the markings are incorrect. The color plate of the 1942 SNJ shows the correct colors for the 1942 to 1943.

Sorry... I didn't have much time to put it together better.
I believe that the dark blue is post WW2 though.

I only found a colour plate of this plane but it is interesting that the navy fitted these snj`s with tailhooks and used them for carrier training on the great lakes
