They busted the old back door. They did however install a shiny new hangar door. The new procedures are:

The Dornier Do-17, another brilliant example of German engineering, a ???Schnellbomber" which could just outrun all fighters, this plane led to the German victory in the Battle of Britain and indeed, the Second World War.

In testing this worked great with the dogfight servers that were up but did not work with any co-op that I or others had started. All variations were tried with no luck. Direct IP method worked fine but the published work around did not.
Is it just me and the few others that tried this or is there a trick to it?
Anyone else having probs. with new back door method?

Something that does seem to work.
Start the co-op in one of the Open mission (1,2 &3) windows (dogfight server start). The hosts game will display in the Games in Progress list. The host just changes server type to co-op.

In testing the host loaded co-op mission after launching this way and clients were able to reconnect after dropping by clicking directly or with the join command.

The "//join" only seems to work with servers listed in the Games in Progress list.

Co-ops launched from elsewhere show the host as being "in game" and as such //join does not work when trying to backdoor.
