Is it me or is there no muliplayer for stand alone Pacific Fighters.

1st off when you select Play Online from the PF Website an error sreen states;

"The page you tried to access was not found. It is possible that the page has moved or that you entered an incorrect URL. ubi.com may also be temporarily unavailable due to routine server maintenance. Please check back later"

1) Hit the Sturmovik Essentials link in my sig..... scroll down to Hyperlobby and download it. Then go there to fly.

2) I highly recommend you get the FB GOLD pack and make the merged install. It will make it easier for you to join more servers since most of us, even a lot of guys who fly mostly PTO use the merged install.

There are a few PF standalone servers on HL but not many. Spring for the GOLD pack you wont be sorry.

It's a bad link. Just click on "online games" on the left from that page, or ubi.com home page. Then "play now" at the PF game. If you don't have the ubi.com game service installed, it will install it then.

If you have UBI.com game service installed, just click on the UBI shortcut on your desktop to play.

bump. go for the gold pack and you'll be spoilt for choice online, you won't regret it, and pf just isn't the same without the ME109...ok granted its a western/eastern front aircraft, but it is just too cool to miss

I love it! A Moderator of UBI's forums is always telling people to fly at Hyperlobby. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif

The only thing HyperLobby has over UBI is that more people fly there. Oh, and most of the highly anal squads fly there as well. And even worse, the ones with the homemade cockpits, scarf, goggles and bomber jacket on while flying, lmao, that think they're a WWII pilot. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/mockface.gif

I fly both everyday. No difference. I actually prefer UBI's layout with the customizable difficulty setings you can show for each server and it's been rock solid for me for over a year now.

The only technical issue at UBI is hosting behind a router. Sure, it's a pain, but I just unplug my 2nd computer when I want to host there. There are at least 50 people or so playing the stand-alone version at any one time and usually 100 or so in the room that sports AEP V2.04 and PF merged servers.

UBI is a fun place to fly, much more laid back than HyperLobby and doesn't always feature 300 out of 900 players just sittin' and yakkin' all night, sucking up bandwidth. IMO, of course. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/34.gif
