Would it be possible to make a way to alter the default skin without opening up the code? Could we just have like a folder in each aircraft file that says DEFAULT SKIN and we can assign one of out choosing? Would that have to open up the source code to be doable? The benifit of THAT would be that by having the ability to change the default skin mission builders would have a bit more creative room in making thier missions. By assigning the default skin of thier choice they could crate more realistic bases with static objects.. since the static aircraft use the default skin... or dont they?? LMAO.. Now I have to check.... but anyway.. is that doable as well? Im going to cut n paste this in ORR so maybe the big O can give me an answer..... it would be nice. I know I asked this in another form a while back and got a negatory.. but maybe if it was done this way it would be doable?

it is, he wants another copy of the default skin (i think) so he can alter that one, because some of the default skins are very nice and i know i would love to add my own touches to them http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Maybe it could be done with help of DeviceLink. what I mean is to make the default skin change mission dependant, so it wouldnt influence on online play or any other mission without edited default skins. It would be nice if we could change camo for some ground objects that way too, I mean a eastern front camo on tank in desert terrain makes it a rather easy target...
