Apparently there was some DNA testing done that officially clears the parents of Jonbenet Ramsey as suspects in her murder.

Lack of evidence doesn't necessarily mean lack of participation. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif

I actually don't care about the case one way or the other, just thought I'd put that out there.

Did they find any Weapons of Mass Destruction? A cure for AIDS? Found a way to resolve climate change? Racism? Child abuse? Poverty? Religion? The war in Iraq, Afghanistan, Chechnya and Darfur? The education system? A peace and liberation treaty for Tibet?

I seriously couldn't care less about Jonbenet Ramsey.

I'm curious...what exactly is it you would like the Boulder City police to do about..for example....AIDS?

Well they could maybe be a little speedier on their DNA tests. It's been 12 years and it's still getting more publicity than it should.

...uh huh... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif

New DNA tests, which focus on skin cells left behind from a mere touch, point to a mysterious outsider. They came too late to clear the name of JonBenet's mother, Patsy, who died of cancer in 2006.

I totally agree with you tho. Considering that Boulder police have so much money...they really should have used their time machine more efficiently to go forward to 12 years into the future and get this DNA test and take it back to 1996 to use it right there at the murder site.

Stupid commie Boulder police. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/disagree.gif

I also agree that the murder of a human being is totally irrelivant. It's also totally stupid that Patsy Ramsey had to spend the end of her cancer ridden life having the finger pointed at her for the death of her own six year old child. I mean, no one actually believes that Patsy loved her daughter or anything.

I mean, God, how stupid! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

So some beauty contest winner dies and its like some crazy catastrophe. But then thousands of men, women and children die at the hands of careless dictators each and every day (including your president) and it doesn't even reach the news. No big deal, right?

None of that has nothing to do with the murder of Jonbenet Ramsey. The people who cleared the Ramsey's of murdering their own child are the police and prosecutors. That was their job. These are not international investigators or government officials. They are local police and officials. I think they should be commended for even after 12 years are working to solve the murder of an innocent six year old child.

But yea, being a child that is too young to make decisions for herself and thus ending up in beauty pageants at the whim of your parents...total crime against humanity. She had no right to live and other events going on around the world make her death a gift to us all. How dare anyone think her murder deserved to be solved. Her mother deserved to be framed for her murder too becuase of what's going on Tibet. I can't believe the media doesn't see the connection! z0mgz0r! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

Hes not saying there is a connection, what he is trying to say is he doesnt understand why the death of a 6 year old child gets so much national attention when bigger badder stuff is going on as you read this.

There are some horrible things going on in the world, no doubt. But Jonbenet was a innocent child that was murdered. No matter what's going on in the world, that doesn't mean she doesn't matter. She was a human being. She was six. She did nothing to deserve what happened to her.

Also, her parents reputation was ripped apart by the media. They were painted as cold-hearted killers who had it in them to murder their own daughter. I don't have kids so I can't even imagine what that's like, but I can imagine it was horrible. They were labeled as murders everywhere from 24 hour news channels to South Park. Add to it that as Patsy Ramsey was being labeled a child killer, she was trying to mourn her daughter and dying of cancer. The same media that painted them a killer owes it to them to at least say "Hey. We were wrong." These people deserve vindication.

Like the 100 children that die in Darfur by famine or war while you read this single sentence.
