a few ppl and I were kind of getting off topic on a few threads and I'm really interested in both sides of the Templar/Assassin story (So I made this thread)

please post anything to do with the Templars or Assassin's (directly or closely related, please) on this thread

Here are a few things on the Templars:

The First Templar: A video game on Templars (Leap of Faith in it) Link to EA51's comment on it here (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/5251069024/m/8671037388))

The Last Templar: A book on the Templars, could be interesting (I might buy it)

L'Air Epais: Something to do with Templars, haven't got the full details http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/disagree.gif

The Satanic Rituals: The Church were the bad guys http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/winky.gif

Templars have always been seen as being "evil": Sounds interesting

Templars started off Christan, executed on Friday the 13th:Very interesting, the site is here (http://www.suite101.com/content/friday-the-13th-a41107)

Templars were historically executed for heresy: Adds to the "evil" plot

Assassin's:

The "Assassin's" could be Freemasons: Sounds good (thread about it Here's (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/5251069024/m/3631083087/p/5))

Assassin's:

The "Assassin's" could be Freemasons: Sounds good

Historically, no chance

And even if the game was true and the Assassins were around still and at war with the templars, they'd be fighting the masons:

This is a funny find:
http://www.knightstemplar.org/faq1.html

I half-expect to see something there about their development of a new machine called the animus.......

I meant the Assassin's could be based on the Freemasons (soz)

Interesting theory, but it doesn't really make sense.
Assassins were wiped out in the 1400s while freemasons started in the 1700s. There's no evidence that the freemasons started earlier, although they do claim to have - funny how there's no written record though http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

That's the historical facts, but again even if the game was true, freemasons would be enemies of the assassins due to the ties with the templars.

Interesting Thread... Hopefully we can get a ton of theories on here http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Maybe you should link my thread in the OP Mc...

But back to the Freemanson stuff, maybe the Assassin's only pretended to be wiped out, only to reform 300 years later as the Freemansons, and tied with the Templars to try and kill them!

MASSIVE CONSPIRACY MUCH??

But then later in the future, the Templars found out and the Mansons were forced to free and be known as the Assassins again! However, some of these Mansons decided to start a religion to gain more followers.

But by 2012, they are being killed and wiped out by the Templars...

Seems like a plausable Theory to be http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Maybe they weren't wiped out but actually were rescued by the doctor in the TARDIS!
You think Dr Who is just a TV show? THAT'S WHAT THE TEMPLARS WANT YOU TO THINK.

The templars are in fact daleks!
