I'd like to chime in and say thank you too Oleg, it is amazing what you have done with this series in the last few years, for All of us. More than that, you have well and truly spoiled us (that is a good thing), but that is no excuse for 'us' (the community) to act like spoiled brats.

I know it doesn't count for much, but you can consider me a life-long customer now (in fact I already realized this before the release of Il-2), I will be buying any sim (and most likely any software) that gets your stamp of approval from here on out.

Yes I agree.
I was about to post a thread of support for all who have the smallest inkling as to how hard Oleg and his team work for us, Buzz saw beat me too it but said it so well.
Just to let the man know that the whines he sees are just a minority and the biggest part of the community respects his hard work, and knows that he is dedicated to ironing out issues.
This thread should be posted in by all who feel this way, to show our support.

Many thanks Oleg http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Thanks here to, Oleg.. Just so you know - this is the only sim (or game for that matter..) on my computer. I love it and have continued to be a diehard simmer since IL-2 was first released.

Can hardly wait for BOB http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Btw, I work in the real world of business and I have learned that 98% of my customers are completely satisfied and send me tons of referral!! But about three percent of my new business have mental problems.. and are always unhappy..

(I usually flush them and let my competition deal their headaches.. lol )

As a long time flight sim and racing sim fan, I felt the need to speak up. I recently got Forgotten Battles and Aces because Pacific Fighters came out. I've been watching the message boards for the past few days and I'm a little shocked at what I'm seeing.

First the amount of support I'm seeing from Oleg and his programmers. Patch after patch with additional planes and new damage files. And it's not just for PF, there a history of Oleg performing these tasks for iL-2, FB and Aces. Simply amazing. It's one thing to release a game - it's another to release a game, talk to the players, get feedback, make changes, make more changes and keep going. Kudos to Oleg and everyone connected to 1C Maddox games.

Second, I'm shocked at the childish responses from various board members here. To complain about what was written on the side of the box and not available in-game is amazing. Things change from print-time to game release. And then to ***** and moan that a patch isn't working on your Windows ME or '98 machine makes me shake my head.

Be thankful that we're getting the kind of response and additional work from these find developers. I have many games that are in need of additional patches but won't see the light of day. The fact the Oleg visits the boards is a tribute to his character and dedication to the flight sim community. Thank you Oleg, thank you very much. Your hard work is much appreciated.

I'm 100% with the others in here. I've never gotten so much enjoyment out of a product in my life. The only word for it is "masterpiece". The IL2 series teaches as much as it entertains. I have learned alot and am having loads of fun with it.

Keep up the outstanding work. Congratulations to the 1C: Maddox team!

Thank you Mr Maddox and Team for your efforts. The only air sim I flew before this was Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe, about 15 years ago on my first computer, a 486-SX25 with a monochrome 14" monitor! They were the days!

I always dreamed of a WW2 air combat game with beautiful graphics and highly engineered performance.

Sturmi/PF have brought me back to gaming, and it has truly been a pleasure.

My hat off to you all,
