I just ordered TrackIR from Just Flight.

They have a great deal at the moment: 120 pounds for TrackIR including the Track IR clip, this package is called TrackIR Ultra.

http://www.justflight.com/flightsimaddons.asp

It will also come with a free version of BoBII Wings of Victory (See also on the 'more info' tab on the Just Flight page).
http://forum.justflight.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=26930

That means that you get the following :

<span class="ev_code_YELLOW">TrackIR + TrackIR clip + BoBII for 120 pounds/180 euro/240 USD.</span>

You also get 5 pounds off the price if you start an account (this is free to do) with them BEFORE you order. This paid for my shipping costs.

For those that don't know, the clip fits to your headset/headphones and emits small l.e.d. light signals so you don't need to wear the silly hat with the dots:

Quoting from the Just Flight site:

Package includes
" TrackIR 4:PRO device
" 1 Black TrackClip Pro
" 1 Vector Clip
" Software CD-ROM
" User's Manual & Quick Start Guide
" As a bonus the package also comes with full versions of Battle of Britain II and RFactor (a PC racing game)

Sounds like a nice little bundle. But I must say that I recently got the trackclip pro and Im very unhappy with it. The vector clip is so much smoother and thats what Im still using so I pretty much wasted 39 bucks or whatever it was. Oh, and its very cheaply made, I can see it breaking very easily. But if its free its worth trying out.

Since I discovered freetrack i am not so taken with TiR.I have a 3 led track clip, which cost me 12.50 ready made,a 15 webcam and a set up that is 6 DOF capable and is at least equal to my TiR2.

I, too, am a very satisfied user of freetrack.
Don't think I'm going to rush out and get TiR in a hurry. Maybe one day...

Where'd ya get the clip?

I have track IR, which I like fine, but I'd like to ditch having to have the hardware on top of my computer since I already have a build in webcam (iMac).... Been wanting to give freetrack a try, but don't feel like building my own led setup.

Hi Spinetti
Not sure where Uther got his clip, but you can get one pre-built from the freetrack site...
maybe thats what he's using?

Spot on.There is a guy on the freetrack forum who puts together 3 or 4 led kits. You can also buy them from him ready built,if you can't/can't be bothered to build one yourself. They are very well built.

Bump.
It arrived today. It took 4 working days delivery to Sweden, they ship everywhere I think.

Be seeing you! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

I'm glad I bought "TrackIR4 pro" when I did...it seems like the price just keeps going up. Ya, the bundle sounds like a good deal but I'm glad I got (the old package) it for $144.99.

Is it even possible to find the (old) regular package for $159.99 anymore?
