Beware all pilots, a new simmer is here.

Born 23 Feb 2005, weighing 7lbs 14oz (~3.6kg) and 20 inches (50.8cm) long, he's eating, pooping, drooling and sleeping day and night
in order to be ready for BoB, or IL-3, whichever comes first. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

CAJUN!!!!!!

Congrats, Buddy! Good to hear that Mom and Baby are doing well. My wife nearly died with our first. There were alot of complications. However, my wife is made of IRON, and we had our second, in spite of the trouble with the first, and all was well.

You have alot of joy, coupled with sleepless nights, waiting ahead. May God bless you and your family, Sir.

We had a few moments, caused by a good sized baby and a petite Thai wife, but a helpful turn with some forceps and he proceeded fine. If he hadn't, we would have had to do a C-section. But my wife pushed gallantly for 3 hours, and was able to deliver normally.

The both of them are amazing to me, and I'm awe of the strength in each. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/heart.gif

Cajun! Mate congratulations! Light up a cigar, crack the top off a good bottle of something and celebrate.

Makes you feel kind of humbled being around new borns doesn't it?

P.S. Have you got a flight stick in his hands yet? Its never to early to start them on the MOST important part oft heir education.

Cajun,
You're too modest, downplaying YOUR role in proceedings. Sure it was three hours of pushing but SOMEONE had to pace up and down nervously and generally freak out. At least that is what I would do.

For myself I figure I have a few more years of peace before my wife starts geting pushy. Hopefully I'll be mature by then http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif

No signs of that yet, though.

Good luck with everything, sir. Congrats again.
