Hi I decided to expand my flight sim into some WWII era, I played this game before but kinda quit after I didn€t receive any help on the forums, but I€m back again to give it another shot. I have FB+AEP+PF, I know the latest patch is 4.05m but it€s a payware since it has the Pe-2/3. I€m pretty sure it€s worth it but I€ve been reading a lot of people are having trouble with something called boonty? Anyway, is there any popular skins/mods that you guys recommend? Some sims have these huge downloads that get noobs like me quickly up to speed. Like in Free Falcon there was this huge mod/skin pack that was close to 400mb and all I had to do is install that and I don€t have to worry about anything else, is there something like that for FB+AEP+PF?

Hi there, and welcome back. Look on one of the stickies on the forum for a detailed installation of the new addon. http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/23110283/m/9691071834

You can find a lot of skins as well as missions at www.flying-legends.net (http://www.flying-legends.net)

Be sure to patch your Il-2 FB AEP PF merged to 4.04 first before attempting to install the Pe-2 add-on. The following link explains the correct patch order:

http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/26310365/m/5581083643

After that, you can safely install the Pe-2 4.05 add-on. Proper directions are given in the thread that TC_Stele allready mentioned. There you will also read the directions on how to get rid of the annoying Boonty Box program. This will provide you with all you need to enjoy this game online against other players. Any skins you will download are not necessary for gamplay but are purely for show. You can find loads of skins at www.flying-legends.net (http://www.flying-legends.net) (free registration required) or www.1java.org (http://www.1java.org) and many other sites that are posted in

Happy flying!
