So its 1943 and i started missing the old Type VII , so i went to the local u-boat lot , and traded in my IX for a VII. i seem to have done this just in time. my first patrol i ended up trailing a convoy up St. Georges Channel , spotted one plane early in the morning , the diving speed of the VII kept me safe . i ran until dusk , jumped up to periscope depth , and looked for any contact , the weathers bad , so im not expecting to see anything at all , well the scopes were clear , and no longer than a minute on the surface this found me. i would have been a post toasty if i would have been in that type IX .i made this trade out just in time.

They are flying so close therefore some of them should be from Ace's list :

im a simpleton with the mods , i use these.

Harbor Traffic 145
Improved Smoke
Better Damage Texture
thats it . no patches or upgrades anything like that , ive never had any problems with the stock game , but i plan on throwing in some mods when i start my next career.

it was odd though ,i surfaced , had the radio man hiding in the stern torpedo room just to be safe , and the next thing i know i was swarmed.
