I just received my first Track IR set up and am thrilled with the effect in IL2. I'm curious if anyone here has used it with any non-enhanced first person shooters? I play BF2 and COD2 once in a while and it would be awesome if it worked with them. I know Armed Assault is TIR enhanced but the demo doesn't seem to play well with my rig. Does the mouse emulation software work with non-enhanced games?

I tried my TIR with RavenShield with it set on it's mouse emulation mode. It did work however you have to steer yourself with your head now... it was tricky and it much easier with the mouse... pointing the reticle on a tango was extremely tricky... but I didn't try to fiddle with the profile settings at all so it might be possible to improve it... but it'd still be easier with the mouse.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I tried the Armed Assault demo which was designed with Track IR in mind. It mostly worked very well but zooming the view in and out by moving your head back and forth was a bit twitchy.

For awhile there was a beta Half Life 2 mod that allowed you to play HL2 with trackIR support (not mouse emulation but true support). It was great fun to be able look around while having your gun trained on one spot you think a baddy might be popping out at.

I'd love to see this incorporated into Americas Army. You loose so much SA when looking through your sniper scope. It'd be great if you could turn your head from the scope and when you turned back to the scope, the crosshairs would still be in the same general area.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Some of my best kills have started with the thought, "There's no way in #@&* this is going to hit him."

TrackIR works great in Armed Assault and if you dislike the zoom it's very easy to disable in the control setup.

Yep, I was on the HL2 Beta team for the trackIR proof-of-concept mod. Took some getting used to at first but was real cool.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Does anyone know anything about a BF2 mod called Rising Forces that is supposedly TIR enhanced?
