View Full Version : Blend hack

Does anyone know if it's possible to hack AC1 so the guards simply do not notice you?

Yes I know this will basically trash the game, but although many things about the game are completely brilliant, I'm afraid I hate the controls so much that I lost interest and dug up a copy of Deus Ex instead. However, I would like to give it to my daughter so she can ride the horses. Of course this is not possible if soldiers keep attacking, so I want to remove the lot of them. Any thoughts?

A possible solution is a trainer that's floating around, which runs in the background and intercepts keystrokes, the following sorts me out nicely:

Numpad 7: Assasin Blend - Your HUD indicator will show you as Un-noticed, and those whom you attack will not be able to see you or fight back. Enemies or characters that already have seen you will continue to attack. It's best to activate this function before you are spotted or attacked.

However I really don't like running dodgy exes off the web, can anyone vouch for this thing, or even better tell me what it's actually doing? I tried to decompile it but no joy. Also you need to keep pushing Num 7, which sucks.

Different track, where are the saves? Perhaps I deleted them, but I don't remember doing that. If I muck around in there with a hex editor I may find something.

Um ...?

This is on a laptop that isn't connected to the web at all. I'm not doing anything to anyone's server, and I can call it something other than hacking if it makes you happy. How about massage? I want to massage my standalone install so that Altair always blends in?

I'd really like to call you names, BUT, im not going to.
I still don't like the idea of hacking >: (

I think his choice of words was a bit wrong, what hes talking about is basically a modification not a hack. All it would do is modify the game nothing else.

The trainer that was on here to make ACII harder is the same thing... but on the other side of the fence lol

Anyway, if you haven't got the skillz or patience to learn how to control your charater and surroundings in AC without mods I suggest you play something else... like Deus Ex for example http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

if you want you daughter to ride horses, then maybe you could buy her a horse riding game? And you can still ride horses and NEVER be caught guards, sure they'll be on to you but you can outrun them in like 5 seconds because in AC1 you're the only one who realised you can ride a horse lol

I am surprised from the level of rudeness in this forum :/

Why, because its so different from any other forum on the internet?

I don't think I've ever been on a forum where people aren't rude in some form or another.

From the long term poster who puts themself on a pedestal(of which there is a few on here http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/53.gif) to the lowly newbie who feels like they have something to prove, its swings and roundabouts.

You can take it personally or laugh at it, I prefer the latter http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

It's actually not that rude Metal. Over the past few days, there have been a bunch of people asking for help on how to install pirated games on the OFFICIAL forum of the website. So when a hack was mentioned on this, people were just getting sorta mad that hacks are being asked about on the official forum for the game. And they're not even name calling or anything. They're just saying he shouldn't hack. Since when was that rude?

EDIT: ah Robson Ninja posted me

I still think more people should actually read the OP before replying.

The guy wants to know if he can mod the game so that his daughter can ride the horses without being chased by guards. He hasn't said anything about cracking the game or doing anything illegal and just because idiots have been asking how to crack the game on here, doesn't mean he's doing anything remotely similar.

I don't remember him saying anything about using the mod to make the game easier for himself because he hasn't got, as you put it, "the skillz or patience to learn how to control your character and surroundings". He just expressed his opinion on the control scheme and how it did not suit his preferences.

That in my personal opinion is rudeness and just because it occurs everywhere, it doesn't mean you have to participate.

I'm sorry The_Potty_1 but I can't help you.

It was a joke peanut, don't be so up yourself. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif

It was my dry attempt at pointing out him using his daughter as an excuse to get a work around for an 'issue' he was having in game was worth mocking ... you obviously missed it ...

Whether it was true or not wasn't the point.

The whole forum thing was also a joke ...

WTS SOH going cheap, especially to those that look like they need it! *cough*opisamra*cough*

Anyway, I was actually defending him to begin with lol

... by the way I can make you a saddle for his *** if you want, will stop all the chaffing http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Was that rude?

I don't think anyone was particularly rude, but thank you for your concern. I did pour scorn on a game which everyone here probably likes a lot, so should expect whatever I get http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Also I agree that my use of the word 'Hack' was gratuitous and in hindsight likely to incite violence, my apologies.

Perhaps the question I should ask is, how do you map your controls on the PC version so you can change direction and still see where you are going, this would help in running away from guards without running into walls.

My daughter HAS a riding game, but the graphics in AC are so much better, and you can climb stuff and annoy the locals, which is so much more fun than trotting around on nags that get out of breath after galloping for ten seconds.

I just dont think some people have self control. Also it appears some on here take themselves far to seriously a little smily face in a post means joke http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif .

the Potty_1 to be honest mate this forum is more about tha aspects of the game i.e. characters, Methods of completion, in game stuff (lol great english) things about the actual periods the games are set in that sort of thing rather than the mechanics and I.T of the game. If anyone does know on here i would be impressed. So i recomend you e-mail Ubi direct about it (contact details are on their site i think) i have e-mailed them before and they seem to be very good at replying so you should be ok. Sorry i cant be anymore help buddy. Good Luck http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Yes, it is very possible. There is a HA.CK in the Assassin's Creed I called HAy saCK where you can dive-in, wait-n-hide, and the guards will NOT notice you.

Will his daughter be able to do that if she's 8?
7?
6?

Think about it mate, plus if she doesn't get there quick she could get hit of the horse... then there's trouble when you're in a sword fight http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I think the idea is that she can be left for an hour just to run around knocking people over, not for her to spend 2 minutes running around, getting knocked off and then being beaten sh*tless by guards

Sorry Potty, can't help you with the 'hack' mate...

Baha well she's 11, but to be honest I can't manage the haystack thing myself, mostly because my controls are set up so if I turn a corner I end up looking at the wall going past, hoping the road ahead is straight.

I tried remapping so the left & right arrows turn the screen, and the mouse turns Altair, but then you can't jump left/right while climbing. Perhaps I should try on the numpad. Hm.

LOL, I think you meant HAystaCK. Haystacks don't offer much when you can't use them while under red notoriety and one is looking to avoid being chased in the first place. I rarely use haystacks to hide. It's typical that by the time I run far enough to get out of the notoriety circle, I'm no longer in sight of the guards anyway. I usually get incognito status right after that.
