Hi all,

Beta testing of the new version is progressing very well thanks to the excellent services of our beta testers who have wasted no time in testing it out. I sent a newer beta out to them late yesterday which incorporates some new program options as well as some now completed options which weren't finished in time for the first beta. Below are some screenshots showing some of the newest options.

Again a BIG thankyou to Targ at simjunkie.com for his prompt and friendly assistance in setting up the new beta testing forum and providing in-valuable web space for distribution of beta files. Without his assistance it would be a costly, slow and dificult process to communicate with the beta testers and distribute program files.

I was asked to include an unusual Stab markings option, a double chevron and bar type as used by JG. 2 Kommodor Kurt Burlingen. As there are 19 new weathered/faded/chipped Japanese hinomaru markings options included in the new version I thought I'd take the opportunity to show another one of them. I re-aligned the last call letter on RAF Spitfires by moving it to the left, closer to the roundel as the default markings place it far too much to the right. Lastly, one of our beta testers made a request for some new faded USA white stars as seen on an excellent Corsair skin by Hammerd so I have produced the graphic and included an additional USA markings option to select it.

Because I am spending the entire weekend working with the beta testers on the program I decided to add as many extra features as time permits and therefore I will have to postpone the documentation update and preperation of the website until the coming week. I hope to be able to release the program sometime in the week, probably mid-week.

Best Regards
