I took the wife and kids to the local madhouse of a mall today for the last minute back to school "must haves". In to Funcoland I go, looking for a cheap, used PC title for myself. No joy.
However, I saw a Xbox 360 add for Ace Combat 6. "OOOOH look at the pretty planes" I thought to myself, as I looked at the pretty planes in the ad. "Too bad I don't have an XBOX 360,......WTF? that looks like www.ebgames.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=200302 (http://www.ebgames.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=200302) a green and white saitek X-45 bundled with this game!"

So that makes me wonder. Will it work on a PC as do other 360 controllers? If it does,...will dissatisfied AC6 players be selling them on Ebay or at the game resellers one week into October? Should we start filling the sandbags now for the possible influx of uberl33t console flight simmers looking to show us a thing or two in teh WW2 planez,..

I have no idea whether it will work with a pc tbh, although I do know that I played the demo of the game and it's absolute crud imho.
Planes can roll, turn and dive/climb on a dime, there's no G-force, I think the demo had infinite rockets as well so instant death to anything in your sites, a short burst of gunfire will beat the hell out of anything in your path if you can actually aim the dman things while flying at a decent speed.

Oh well.

*waits patiently for his baby, halo 3 to get released for the 360*

Ooh yeah....that would look great with the zebra skin seat-cover and the rhinestone-studded monitor that I'm thinking of getting for my simpit http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/metal.gif

Was it Henry Ford who said "you can have any color, so long as it's black"? +1 here

Ther more the merrier.. but until; you can add to a console sim like you can to a PC sim and also create skins, write missions, use vent, fly online for free and take screenshots I'll be sticking with my PC sims. That stick is pretty old though.. I remember seeing one for one of the older sysstems a while back.. it was only in Japan though.
