View Full Version : Is it just me?

Or is it possible that the Young Man at the end of the Embers movie is either a personification of Death itself, or maybe just maybe an apparition of Vieri de'Pazzi greeting Ezio as he dies.

The look that comes across Ezio's face as they look at one another certainly seems to be one of clear recognition, of seeing someone from your long distant past, and the slight smile and nod from the Young Man would seem to say "Yes Ezio, it's me, and you're dying, be at peace"

I think that when Ezio looked at him, it reminded him of himself when he was younger. Because as we all know, Ezio was in to women a lot and would say what the other guy said.

Did anyone else shed a tear? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sKMGx0ROPgs) And to believe, I didn't like Ezio at first.

I was gonna cry haha, but I held it in. He does look very suspicious. No doubt that everybody thought that he killed him at least once watching the video. To be honest, I think Ubisoft is just gonna keep it a mystery.

Unfortunetly, I have only seen bits and pieces of Embers, as I cannot watch the whole thing without being logged into the PS Network, which I don't have an ID, nor would I get one.

None the less, I'd guess he dies of an embolism.

If that isn't photoshopped, then I'm surprised there hasn't been a huge thread about this. Does that mean he killed Ezio? Does that mean he was sent to Florence to kill Ezio? Does that mean Ezio had a heart attack when he realized the guy was a Templar? WTF

What the!? Gabe said this guy is nobody important. This was clearly put in there on purpose. Thanks for posting that. I did not know about this.

Holy..
That man was a templar. I'm going to have to watch it again, and again, then come up with a decision..

I swore I'd never watch Embers bcuz Ezio is a character I strongly bonded with and I did NOT want to see him this way & especially dying.

But I just watched the video link - that guy didn't do anything to Ezio, but there was clearly something up with who he was & Ezio recognizes him for whoever he is (whether a Templar enemy or some ironic 'reincarnation' of someone from his past).

Ezio was already having health issues before he left with them & it looks as if he was already slipping away before this guy sits with him.

I did - *sigh* So how does this change your view of Ezio if at all?

Time to play some ACB & get rid of this sad imagery.

There was a big thread about it. Discussed a few weeks back actually. I'll find the link.

Agreed absolutely. I really don't think there's anything fishy about him whatsoever.

That cross? It could mean anything, as well as just a cosmetic design someone threw in.

and that picture with templar cross is fake i just watched that part again in 720p and paused at same scene and i'm sure he didn't have that cross

and why would anyone kill old man who is already sick and close to death and whole embers we see that ezio has breathing problems

Ezio appeared to be too alarmed or concerned for it to just be some epiphany of his life - at least imo.

At first, I thought it was that when he was looking at the 2 girls (I don't know who they were since I didn't see Embers), that maybe he was concerned this person might go after those 2. But it didn't happen since they were at the bench w/ him at the end.
