I dont see the logic, a clownwagon is no sinnister opponent, more a joke.
Or is another word for that the adressed aircraft is so good that it made the game "clownish"?

Clown-wagon: plane that lets you clown around and get away with it. There are clown-wagons on both sides of the aisle btw. (*cough* K4/Spit/La7 *cough*)

Well, there is ppl who has a genuine fear of clowns, Coulrophobia. Imagine the trauma if they ever get hit by a clownwagon! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif

Hmmm, maybe my plane is a "clownwagon".

When I used to fly on servers I'd get bored. I'd sometimes catch someone's 6 and stay there without firing. Somehow without aiming I could keep my 109 on just about anyone's 6. It seemed that when I try to hit them they are able to shake me.

Try it sometime. It's especially fun when you know the other pilot is a noob. The psycological effect is as funny as h3ll. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Once he realizes(15 mins later) you have no intention of shooting him, he'll level out and relax. That's when you neatly saw off his wing. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/784.gif

Hmm, I had thought that those who flew them (clownwagons) were clowns, thus clown wagon as opposing to clowning around wagon. I also thought the term referred to cars as well, but I am not sure of the connotation. I had thought that it meant a car driven erratically or by someone who is a jerk in general for some reason.

I wonder why? When I was young I always found the clowns scary at the circus.

Not so good...You will soon be since The European Commission has just announced an agreement whereby English will be the official language of the European Union rather than German, which was the other possibility.

As part of the negotiations, the British Government conceded that English spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a 5- year phase-in plan that would become known as "Euro-English".

In the first year, "s" will replace the soft "c". Sertainly, this will make the sivil servants jump with joy.
The hard "c" will be dropped in favour of "k". This should klear up konfusion, and keyboards kan have one less letter.

There will be growing publik enthusiasm in the sekond year when the troublesome "ph" will be replaced with "f". This will make words like fotograf 20% shorter.

In the 3rd year, publik akseptanse of the new spelling kan be expekted to reach the stage where more komplikated changes are possible.
Governments will enkourage the removal of double letters which have always ben a deterent to akurate speling. Also, al wil agre that the horibl mes of the silent "e" in the languag is disgrasful and it should go away.

By the 4th yer peopl wil be reseptiv to steps such as replasing "th" with "z" and "w" with "v".

During ze fifz yer, ze unesesary "o" kan be dropd from vords kontaining "ou" and after ziz fifz yer, ve vil hav a reil sensibl riten styl. Zer vil be no mor trubl or difikultis and evrivun vil find it ezi tu understand ech oza. Ze drem of a united urop vil finali *** tru .

Und efter ze fifz yer, ve vil al be speking German like zey vunted in ze forst plas!

What is a clownwagon?

The "P-" prefix normally gives it away http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I wouldn't consider the Spit a clown-wagon. You can clown around in it yes but you rarely get away with it http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif Flying any version of the Spit online is like a constant state of paranoia http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif
