Well guys I think that its time for me to hang up my flight sim hat for a while... I find that I need to concentrate on a few things that are of a bit more importance to me right now than playing Falcon or Il2. I am going back to college finally after a 10 year hiatus. Switching majors at the University and will be going for my B.A. in Art/Photography. So with the family, school and work I need to let something go for the time being. I am trying to liquidate some of my stuff to help pay for some books, equipment ect... I just know if I keep this stuff it will be like crack to me. When I should be studying I'll want to play. Money and time is tight and I need to make each class count.

This is what I have:

Fighterstick USB

FrankenPotato Modded Throttle/Throttle Quadrant -- Done by 531Ghost. I love this thing!!

Pro Pedals (USB)

Track IR4 w/6DOF

Buttkicker Gamer - I just broke the plug but am sure it will be an easy fix

XKeys 58 - I won't play F4 w/o it!

LockOn Gold Flaming Cliffs

Falcon 4: Allied Force

IL2 1946

Three Books: Robert Shaws Fighter Combat Tactics and Maneuvering
Eye of The Viper and Vipers in the Storm

I want to sell this as one setup... best reasonable offer gets it.Please email me at intoxicatedace@gmailDOTcom

Why not just keep it and pack it away.. that way should you ever decide to get into all this again you wont have to start from scratch. Just disconnect it and box it up. It should still work in 5 years should the fever hit.. USB isn't going anywhere. Then all you will have to do is get whatever new SW was out. That's what I would do.. but hey that's me.

I really thought about it. But I am trying to pay for school and need to buy a bunch of supplies to include a new Nikon digital camera and a crapload of art supplies. So pretty much I need the money more than the stuff in a box. I really don't WANT to get rid of it. But I know its what I need to do.

do yourself a favor. put it in a box.

walk away. later, youll be gald you dint sell it. with the new job/finances after schooling, unless you happen to have the TIME, and the MONEY (and the wife says its OK) to repurchase all the new hardware, you allready had..you probably wont ever be flying again.

keep it. sell off what the kids, and wife dont use. does she REALLY need 30 pairs of shoes that she NEVER wears?

it's WONDERFUL stuff, and there's parts of it I'd love.... I just don't know many who can make you a reasonable offer on all that stuff. I have no more than $300 in my family slush and that's not even the worth of the franken and stick.
Good luck with your goals though. I went back to college at 35 and now, I'm Electronic Systems Manager at a 1.5 million passenger airport and LOVING it.

Seems such a shame to sell modded gear.

...yeah well I am not thrilled about getting rid of it. I would rather put the money to use and have the gear being used by folks that can enjoy it than just having it sit in box in my attic.

When the time is right I'll get another setup.

TRACKIR 4:Pro GOOD PRICE CHEAP!!!!
