Word in the forums says that in the SoW engine bullets will be individual objects enabling one nifty DM. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

That got me thinking: If the bullets are objects, then how about the shell casings? And parts from exploding AC? Flak fragments? Falling bombs? How long will every individual object live? Do I need to buy that liquid nitro cooler for my comp after all?
What happens to your AC when you plow into a cloud of spinning brass tubes at a relative velocity of some 500 Km/h?
Will the German bomber crews throw out bucketfulls of old nails and bolts at chasing RAF fighters that get too close? Will the bucket throver AI be magically precise, adjusting automatically for wind and coriolis force? Will this delirious ranting ever end??? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif

OK, so it will probably be restricted to bullets and wreckage to keep things sane. I still hope that one day there'll be a full(er) physics engine in sims too. (Doc, can I have one of those pink ones now, please..?)

Ooooo the thing I can't wait for most is the crash model!!! If its anything like in real-life (i.e. not just explosions) I'm gonna be stoked!

I've had my engine just lock after flying thru spent casings once...I always wondered if it was the casings sucked into the engine or just a lucky deflection shot from another plane.
(of course I wasn't recording)
