hi there , new guy here and first post on this great site ,i picked up a logitech wingman force cheap and i tried to install it and it says its not compatible with the windows set up in my puter which is xp is there another driver i can download to make it work , any ideas would be very helpfull , tia , alan

ok i got the thing up and running http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif and its working fine apart from the throttle control its either 55 % or 110 % nothing inbeetween , anyone else had this problem ?

Either it's Logitech's 'quality' or maybe it needs calibration?

Unfortunately, statistically you will back here asking how to install a new joystick within eight months (occasionally they break much sooner). Plus the fact that you'll find flying harder in general because the stick doesn't have very much 'throw' (movement).

ok , i got the peddals built and looking good the only thing is i cant get the joystick to register for the rudder movements http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif do i need to install something for the game to run with 2 joysticks ? thanks , alan

Are the pedals visible in Control Panel, Game Controllers?

If so, read Tully's guide on sticks (http://www.airwarfare.com/tech/sticks.htm)
(There's a part on 'I added a second controller..')

Should be easy in game controls, hotas settings. Click the mouse in the right part of the screen, next to 'Rudder', then move the pedals... something like this:
