Long story short: wife gave me PF for Christmas and I just got FB Gold Pack and merged (great stuff) them all. Started out flying in cockpit(I've been racing NASCAR sims for 10 yrs now-old habit). Anyhow recently joined a server that allowed no cockpit option and was greeted by a slew of red and blue arrows of different sizes. Could someone tell me what the different sizes mean? And yep, I'm addicted already,LOL and getting my butt handed to me regularly but lovin' it and getting a tad better all along.
S!

The larger the arrow is the closer the plane is to you. If you're on red team red arrows are friendlies and blue enemies, but if you're on blue team blue arrows are friendlies and red arrows are enemies.

After ten years of listening to NASCAR sims, I bet she'll actually be thankful to hear a random burst of machine gun or cannon fire to break up the numbing monontony of "MRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrRRRRrrrr rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrmmmmmmmmmmmrrrrr
rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRmmmm mmRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR...."

LOL, I don't think she has any idea of what she's done this time. She was the one that bought me the first NASCAR sim as well and has since wished she'd never laid eyes on it! Fortunately for her and the kids I always wear headphones for gaming just to keep from rattling her nerves too bad. This stuff is VERY addictive and I'm having a blast, even when I get shot down, which is often, lol. I tend to log a few hours per night and am starting to see a bit of improvement but not close to most of you for sure. Thanks for the replies, cya in the air.

DocD, been logging time on the AFJ server as of late. Being new means ya don't know where you would be welcome or not, but then again everyone was new at one point or another, lol. Is there a server where a body could good get some good pointers about tactics and such? I'm willing to listen and learn.

In this community being new means that you are welcome just about everywhere.... It's after you get a rep as a nimtard that the servers start shutting down on you. You become the flier everyone wants to blast...LOL.. You might want to give some of the coops a shot as well.. they are quite a load of fun. Not the random shootemup of a DF server.. usually more goal oriented and more demanding of teamwork because of that. Feel free to pop into any 99th coops.... Welcome to the madness... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif.. Oh ....and tell your wife that all the guys here said.... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/clap.gifhttp://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/clap.gif Bless you my child.... may the force be with you.. cause your husband will be in the basement on the stick bobbing and weaving back and forth in his chair for hours on end from here on out.... LMAO
