Is there a setting for a free-look type camera in Il-2 so that I can move around outside in the Il-2 environment freely?

I'd like to be able to watch other people's tactics in flying online (servers that enable cockpit view off) when I'm dead or spectating.

The only camera angles I seem to be able to view are 3rd person angles outside the aircrafts (movement attached to the aircraft)
and a fixed point camera angle.

This possible?

Shift F2 and ctrl F2 for external views of other planes. You can pan around from external views using the mouse, click on the mouse button (forgotten which one) to zoom in and out as you drag the mouse toward/away from you. You might have to enable this function in 'controls' if you don't already have it.

There is no free camera, there isnt even a ground camera to watch tanks/vehicles moving about. Why they never added these I dont know.

The only thing close to a free a camera is the static camera in FMB.
