Great Spitfire Sir

I tested Spitfire Mk. Xe ate 6300 alt reach 650 km, fuel 100 and the altitute have no effect on the plane, the handling its excelent.

The 109 k4 at 6300 alt, reach tops 575 km, 100 fuel, and the handling is bad, but of curse german planes are supose to be inferior.

Kozhedub: In combat potential, the Yak-3, La-7 and La-9 fighters were indisputably superior to the Bf-109s and Fw-190s. But, as they say, no matter how good the violin may be, much depends on the violinist. I always felt respect for an enemy pilot whose plane I failed to down.

What about Ta 152 at 9000 supose to reach 752 km/h but the best it reaches 690 km/h (prop- maunal), more than that u fry the engine.

Fw 190 a9 at 6500 supose to reach 690 km/h and the best it can do it 650 km/h overheating like hell.

A very suspcious behave of MK108, i supose that should be a little better, or we have a few strong planes, one small spray of anything and 109 it is of the battle (several ppl alredy pointed that here)

That change in prop-pich makes too easy burn out engines.

That heavy elevators on the 109, what makes almost impossible to B&Z, what exacly it is now the behave of some allied planes instead of T&B what its historical.

Im no expert in this matter im just following the game specs about those planes, the spit IXe can outclimb e runaway easily from 109 g6 late, it wanst like that before the patch but there aint no data about that spit in the game, is that correct?

1941 to 1943 Germans are supose to have better planes, if its true, right now its not happening, i believe guys like Butch2k should be consulted in this matter.


More more Luft pilots stay away from this place because guys like LuftLuver, who have a practice to call ppl whiners, but i belive that place here supose to be a free forum where ppl should help Oleg to make the game get more and more close to realistic sim for both sides.

I believe Ivan that ppl who bash others ahould be excluded from this place, because they only have eyes for their side of the story and keep away ppl who wants to contribute with something, i dont come here to ask my planes (Luftwaffe) Uber but i dont want allied planes uber too, if uber planes is necessary we can all play CFS.

Ivan belive me, i realy admire Oleg, because the guys have balls to get in times like this when all software houses left simulation away and bring to us IL2 FB/AEP and soon PF and BoB, but if we dont bring up things to him to check if its ok soon we will have only one side flyable here.

Actually the spit could outclimb all G6, including the boosted version prior to patch and I think it is like that in real life too...

There is a spot between about 5000-6500 meters where the spit loses its advantage somewhat, but it could outclimb the 109's...I did it many times online...at high altitude, the spit owns the 109.

I think the spit may be slightly fast up high, but I haven't done much testing and this version is a later model with uprated Merlin and 4 bladed prop...pointy rudder but outside of that I think the spit is pretty close now

What pitch, power and radiator settings you use? Fuel mixture?
Just numbers please.
What ata and rpm are you getting at this too low maximum speed?
Easier to duplicate if you give the settings and tell the guages.

This is of course for the 190 too slow.

FW is easy to remember pwr i used 103 prop 100 rad 6 avoiding overheating with rad

Bf k4 rad auto, speed 102 prop reduced while plane increase speed

Ta152 a squd member tested so i will have to test this tosend u numbers

sSpit is easy to test, everything in max and it will reach 650 km maybe more

i use no mix for this planes

When your up above 5-6k in 190's and TA's you need more "bite" with your props since there's less air. Try slowly dropping your prop pitch down to around 80-85 and close to spec speeds can be achieved w/o having to completely open your rads and create more drag. Plus your less likely to burn it out with the lower rpm.
