Just discovered that there are alot of RHPS fans here! So I thought we'd stop hi-jacking a thread & create one just for it. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

What's your favorite song & character?

Mine...
Song: "Sweet Transvestite" It just rocks SO hard! Plus I love the lines "So you got caught with a flat? Well, howabout that!" & "shiver with antici................... Pation!" http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

favorite character: Riff Raff

Mine would be Time Warp. I'm a regular straight guy who could never admit to liking a song about trannies. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

Ever since seeing Tim Curry in that film, I could never see him in any other film, such as Home Alone 2 without thinking that maybe he was wearing garters and bra under his clothing.

it's been a while since I've seen this...and I was never a groupie, but Tim Curry's character Frank n Furter was over the top and amazing to watch.

Me and my hubby are huge Tim Curry fans.

I have seen RHPS over 100 times with actors infront of the screen (the only way to see it).

At our Wedding Reception the Time Warp was our introduction song.

Unfortunatly they don't have a place that shows it around us anymore except "The SataniC Mechanics" ( http://www.satanic-mechanics.com/ )do a showing about twice a year but that is nowhere near enough for my liking.

We had a funny country when this film came out.
Somehow it managed to slip pass our censorship board, and filmed for about 4 weeks before it was BANNED by BJ Vorster (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/B.J._Vorster) (as undesirable) http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/bigtears.gif.
Way too late as the movie house had been showing it 4 times a day, total sellouts on every show. and the newpaper reported some 60 year old granny had seen nearly every show. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif

There is an old theatre in a town near me that shows this every Halloween. Its always gets a big turnout & everyone dresses up, brings props & participates. Always lots of fun. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Not being a fan of 'musicals', I do like this as it's different, and I like different

Yeah, I'm the same way. Don't care for musicals in general. But I also have to add "Little Shop of Horrors" to my list of ones I like. Maybe musicals need to contain the word "horror" in their titles to be good. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

"Feed me, Seymour!"

"I'm a big, bad mutha from outter space..."
