One thing that has bothered me ( not whining ) for a long time is that when you fly an offline career in FB, you skip whole huge chunks of the war, since they only have winter maps for the first part of the war. Just last might, I finished a mission flying a FW-190A6 in August 1943. Then the next thing I knew, the next mission had me flying a A8 in June, 1944!! Why can't they have a Winter map for every summer one?? That way you wouldn't skip 9 months here, 10 months there. If they have winter maps versions for some maps they could have them for all maps, no problem.

I'll bet in some climates they didn't fight a whole lot during the winter. There would be a whole lot more cloudy days and poor weather days that would either prohibit or limit operations.

Still..good question. I haven't flown a winter campaign yet http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I pretend that since I'm so heroic I was rewarded with 8 months leave in a cozy little dacha complete with all the prettiest female members of the Bolshoi.

..............................
I always have just enough fuel to arrive at the scene of my crash.

I would rather like some Central/South Germany maps for 1945 fights http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Because of your Teutonic rugged handsomeness, you were sent to the rear to bag as many German virgins as possible.
